Billie Eilish and her boyfriend Jesse Rutherford hit up a Halloween bash together over the weekend, but their outfits have caused concern among fans.
Rumours have been swirling in recent weeks that 20-year-old Eilish and 31-year-old musician Rutherford are an item after the pair were spotted holding hands last month.
But fans reckon the eleven-year age gap is a tad steep, and wasted no time criticising Eilish and Rutherford’s Halloween costumes - which appeared to poke fun at said age gap.

While Eilish dressed up as a baby, Rutherford transformed into an old man, and it didn’t take long for Twitter to kick off.
Commenting on their outfits, one person remarked: “That Billie Eilish costume is extremely disturbing and I absolutely hate it every time it crosses my timeline,” while a second Twitter user echoed: “She's of legal age and all but this couple's costume feels uncomfortable.”
“Billie is grown enough to know how weird and creepy this is btw,” said another person, while a fourth went as far as to say: “I feel so sad for Billie Eilish. She thinks she's being big and bad and grown trolling the haters, but she's just showing her immaturity and proving the point. Jesse is absolutely f***ing disgusting and weird as F**K for agreeing to that costume.”
However, others stuck up for Eilish, leaving comments like: “Is there a reason why Billie Eilish isn't just allowed to live the life she wishes without other people voicing their opinions of her relationship.
"Just throwing it out there that maybe it's her choice to do as she wants, or is that such a crazy take?”
Another said: “As grown adults we can look and say… eek this may not end well. But she’s an adult, he’s an adult. And people need to stop deciding for other people what is traumatising.”
Tyla has approached Eilish and Rutherford for comment.
Although neither have confirmed their romance, Marie Claire reported last week that Eilish’s older brother Finneas has given the couple his ‘seal of approval’ and has never seen his younger sibling ‘so happy’.
The outlet said: “Finneas approves of this, as he really loves seeing his sister so happy and giddy.
“Billie has gone through such amazing changes and growth in the past few years, and she is ready to be with a man who is on her same level. She says that Jesse is the perfect guy for her.”
