Billie Eilish debuts new look as people compare her to other A-lister

Fans are saying that Billie Eilish looks unrecognisable in new photos, and have convinced themselves that the singer now resembles a different huge-name celebrity.

The 24-year-old American star has just launched a jewellery collection for John Hardy, alongside her brother, Finneas.

Billie and Finneas have spent most of their careers making music together before partnering up for the luxury jewellery line.

“Jewellery has always been an enormous part of how I express myself,” she said in a statement. “It’s such an important reflection of a certain time in your life.”

To celebrate the collaboration, the luxury brand posted a carousel of photos of Billie and Finneas wearing the pieces - and people can’t get over the hitmaker’s new look.

As she first debuted in an Instagram dump a few weeks ago, Billie has ditched her dark brunette hair for a shoulder-length strawberry blonde bob.

And in these photos in particular, fans are convinced she resembles Emily Blunt, while someone else has thrown Gracie Abrams into the mix.

One social media user wrote: “Um who exactly is that? Because I am staring at it, and it is definitely not Billie Eilish.”

A second agreed: “That’s clearly Emily Blunt,” and a third penned: “She looks so different omg.”

While a fourth wrote: “Why does she look like Gracie Abrams” and a fifth said: “this hair color on her is everythinggggg.”

A sixth chimed in with: "Billie Eilish turning into Emily Blunt and I kinda like it."

While a seventh joked: "I'm just now learning that Billie Eilish and Emily Blunt have the same mom."

Another baffled fan penned: “What happened to her? She looks like Emily Blunt now.”

Someone else questioned: “Do we need to talk about the Emily Bluntification of Billie Eilish?”

As we say, Billie first showcased her new hair on Instagram earlier this month, as she shared a mirror selfie, sending fans wild.

One social media user asked: “Natural hair gang ?!” while a second penned: “THE HAIIIRRRRRR OMG.”

A third wrote: “Didn't recognize you at first with the new hair. You look nice!”

For the past few months, the Grammy winner has been working on the film adaptation of Sylvia Plath’s The Bell Jar. But rather than making music, the ‘Birds of a Feather’ singer is stepping in front of the camera, with set photos revealing a striking transformation for the role.

The upcoming psychological drama is directed by Sarah Polley, with Billie set to take on the lead role of Esther Greenwood. She’ll be joined by Carey Mulligan, The Mindy Project actor Ike Barinholtz and Heated Rivalry breakout star Connor Storrie.

Other than filming, Billie was in attendance when Finneas tied the knot with his longtime partner, Claudia Sulewski.

The music producer, songwriter and singer married the actress and content creator in an intimate, star-studded ceremony in Montecito, California, on 29 August, after eight years together.

In fact, Billie was more than just a guest, taking on the very special role of officiating the ceremony. She also attended alongside her boyfriend, actor Nat Wolff.

The wedding took place at San Ysidro Ranch, with celebrities on the guest list including Justin and Hailey Bieber, Nobody Wants This star Kristen Bell and her husband, Dax Shepard, as well as Jason Sudeikis and Emma Chamberlain.
