Man Is Dubbed A Hero After Saving His Drunk Girlfriend's Lashes And Labelling Them 'Left' And 'Right'

A boyfriend who salvaged his drunk girlfriend's fake eyelashes before helpfully labelling them 'left' and right' has been hailed a hero.

Social media user Keani Babas, from the US Pacific island of Guam, took to Twitter to share her delight at discovering her boyfriend Peter Vincent had saved her falsies after a night out.

"I was drunk and took off my lashes so my bf stuck them on a napkin and labeled them [sic]," posted Keani on Sunday alongside a heart and a cry-laughing emoji.

Keani also inserted a photo of Peter's kind gesture showing two strip lashes on a piece of kitchen roll with 'L' and 'R' written above in black felt tip pen.Twitter users were full of praise for Peter's actions with the post currently clocking up 23,500 retweets and almost 200,000 likes.

"Where do y'all find these kind of men??" and "girl he LOVES you," commented two impressed users.

Others even called for Keani to marry her thoughtful boyfriend saying "keep him like he kept yo lashes. "Just hurry up and marry dude," wrote @PanaDon1.

"It's all cute and everything until you get eyelash extensions and he tries to do that," added @dwilliamson311.

Other users were more intrigued by the lashes themselves, promoting Keani to share a snap of herself sporting her faux flutter alongside details of the style.

"Here's a pic of me actually wearing them lol. Grab a pair of your own at jane.lashes.beauty on IG," she wrote referring her followers to the brand's Instagram page.

But not everyone was quite so impressed with some questioning whether false lashes are in fact "like socks" meaning they don't have a 'left' and 'right.'

Beauty devotees were quick to respond, explaining most lashes are tapered with the longest fibres positioned at the outer corners for a feline effect.

Boyfriends, take note.
