Ant and Dec have made a pretty brutal dig at Tommy Fury after he reportedly 'dropped out' of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! last minute.

Now, there's definitely been some mixed views surrounding this year's line-up on the beloved ITV programme, but it's clear that seeing the 25-year-old boxer take on the trials and tribulations of the jungle would have sparked quite a lot of buzz online - especially after his highly-publicised split from Molly-Mae Hague.

However, it seems that Tommy's entrance Down Under is something that I'm A Celeb fans will simply have to hope and cross their fingers for, after he 'pulled out' of doing the TV show altogether.

During last night's episode, the presenting duo watched on as the camp filled up with celebrities.

While introducing former boxing champion Barry McGuigan, Ant McPartlin quipped: "I can’t believe Barry McGuigan is doing the show!"

"I know," Dec replied before adding: "Well it was either do this or fight the YouTuber on Netflix."

For some context, it was reported last month that Tommy, who previously starred on Love Island along his now-ex Molly-Mae, decided to 'pull out' of the series to jump on a 'more lucrative offer', which was thought to be his fight with YouTuber KSI.

Fans have since rushed to social media to share their reactions to the jab, with one X user writing: "'It was either do this or fight a YouTuber on Netflix' naaaah Dec really went there."

"'It was either that, or a fight a YouTuber on Netflix' these producers are really us," quoted a second, while a third piped up: "'It was either this or fighting a YouTuber on Netflix'. I'm so glad #ImACeleb is back."

A fourth echoed: "It’s either do this or fight a YouTuber on Netflix HAHAHAHAHA."

"'... or fight a YouTuber on Netflix' LADS PLEASE," quipped another.

And a final X user added: "Fight a YouTuber on Netflix … the burn."

ITV previously responded to the rumours that Tommy would be joining the line-up, with a spokesperson previously telling Tyla a the time: "Any names suggested for I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here are just speculation."

Tommy has since been scheduled to fight former UFC star Darren Till in January.

Last night, the official Misfits Boxing Instagram account announced that the former Islander had been booked to go up against the 31-year-old professional mixed martial artist early doors next year (18 January).

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! airs every night except Saturdays at 9pm on ITV.
