It's been 7 years since Tommy Fury famously fell for fiancée Molly-Mae Hague on live television - but this week, he shared a controversial theory about the early days of their on-screen romance.
As a reminder, the couple met on the hit ITV2 dating series Love Island in 2019 after Molly-Mae, 27, entered the villa as a 'bombshell', immediately sweeping boxer Tommy off his feet.
The couple lasted long beyond the series, moving in together in Cheshire, welcoming their daughter, Bambi, in 2023, and getting engaged in Ibiza.
They briefly split in 2024, each putting this down to Tommy's negative relationship with alcohol, before rekindling last May.

Since then, they've proved unstoppable, more recently adding their newborn son, Midas, to their ever-growing family.
This week, however, Tommy's father, ex-boxing champ John Fury, took the opportunity to reflect on his youngest son's 7-year romance, claiming he initially thought it had been fixed by producers.
"Love Island, I think, is a great thing," Tommy began during an episode of his new What The Fury?! podcast. "As soon as she [Molly-Mae] came in, it wasn't anyone else."
John, 61, then chimed in, adding: "When I first heard you were going on a dating show, I couldn't really get my head around it.
"I told you not to bother with it, didn't I? I said, 'What's that?'. When I actually realised what it was about, I thought, 'Yep, you've made the right decision."

Tommy replied that he'd 'never really watched' the show, claiming he 'didn't really know what [I] was getting myself into'.
"When Molly came in," the 27-year-old continued. "I liked her. I'd do exactly what I'd do on the outside."
During their first meeting in the villa hot tub all those years ago, Tommy famously told his bride-to-be: "You're 100 per cent my type, definitely. Lovely eyes. Cracking body."
Recalling their conversation this week, however, John hit back: "For me, what would have come into my mind then is, 'Oh, she's been planted here for me'. That's what I would have thought straight away."

Agreeing, Tommy admitted: "Well, I thought that, because she was exactly my type. If I could write down a type of woman on paper, it'd be her."
"Did they ask you what type was for you before you want in," his father then asked, to which Tommy replied: "I think so, yeah. I think they knew. Definitely."
