I'm A Celeb viewers already predict winner of 2024 series after first episode

The first episode of this year's I'm A Celeb was jam-packed, and viewers already have their eyes on a potential winner

We're just one episode into the 2024 series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, and already a handful of viewers believe they know who is in the running to be crowned the King/Queen of the Jungle.

Ten campmates landed into the famous ITV jungle tonight - and two extras are rumoured to be joining in the line-up slightly later down the line in a bid to stir up some drama.

Ant and Dec have already introduced us to the first round of stars - WAG icon Coleen Rooney, McFly singer Danny Jones, Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse, Loose Women panellist Jane Moore, Radio 1 host Dean McCullough, N-Dubz front-woman Tulisa and boxing promoter Barry McGuigan.

The line-up also includes kids television presenter Melvin Odoom alongside Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall and TikTok influencer GK Barry.

As we say, according to some rumours, we may be seeing two additional stars making a surprise appearance Down Under in the following days in the form of former Love Island bombshell Maura Higgins and radio host and author Rev Richard Coles.

The duo were initially among those rumoured to be taking part, but failed to appear in the 'first look' photos released by producers, leading many viewers to believe they'll serve as the show’s annual 'late entrants'.

It's often hard at this point in the series to predict which celebs fans are taking to and which stars they'd like to see put through their paces in a series of Bushtucker Trials.

That said, however, some reality TV fanatics believe they've already figured out who's set to win the show, having taken favour with one star in particular.

Taking to social media, one guessed: "day 1 predictions danny jones to be in the final & ɓarry mcguigan. the cyclone will take on the cyclone."

Another said of the 38-year-old The Voice judge: "Danny's winning it."

"danny is winning it #ImACeleb" a third added.

"If Danny Jones doesn't win this it'll be a miracle - and not a good one. He's just fabulous!" another gushed.

A fifth continued: "Danny to win #ImACeleb"

"Danny, king of the jungle, I’m saying it now," another predicted.

The Bolton-born singer was paired up with sportsman Barry McGuigan throughout the duration of the debut episode, after a speedy consumption of a sickening smoothie gave him first choice of his fellow stars.

The duo also took on this year's first Bushtucker Trial, during which they were buried underground and asked to retrieve a set of stars which would be used to trade meals for camp.

A rocky start from Barry meant the pair were only able to bag five out of 10 stars - though their campmates were delighted when a generous portion of kangaroo hind was later dropped into the jungle.
