The mother of late Euphoria star Angus Cloud has thanked producers for paying tribute to her son in the series finale.
The last ever episode of the gritty coming-of-age drama aired over the weekend, providing conclusions to the head-spitting storylines of Rue Bennett (played by Zendaya), Cassie Howard (Sydney Sweeney), and Maddy Perez (Alexa Demie). The week prior, viewers bid a final farewell to Jacob Elordi's character, Nate Jacobs, who died via snakebite after being hunted down by loan sharks for seven gory episodes.
One character sadly absent from Euphoria's ultimate series was Fezco O'Neill, a troubled drug dealer who forms a close, sibling-like relationship with addict Rue.

The much-loved delinquent was made famous by actor Angus Cloud, who starred in the first two seasons.
In July 2025, Cloud tragically died following an accidental overdose of fentanyl, cocaine and other substances, aged just 25.
A number of his co-stars paid tribute at the time, with Zendaya, 29, who claimed she was 'so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh'.
The series' creator, Sam Levinson, also decided to honour Cloud's life in the gut-wrenching final episode by providing Rue with a devastating ending, which saw her character killed off by a fentanyl overdose after Alamo gave her a batch of laced painkillers.
Levinson also included unseen footage of Zendaya and Loud chatting together at the end of the episode under the guise of a hallucination had by Rue as she was slowly passing away.

In the lucid dream, Rue sees a news report about Fezco escaping prison and dreams of herself dashing out to meet him. The segment then cuts to footage of Zendaya and Cloud standing in a field together, drinking beers and smiling as they look out onto the horizon.
Lisa Cloud, the late actor's mother, has since thanked Levinson for including the sweet montage.
She told TMZ: "The massive public emotional outpouring on social media honouring my beloved son’s beautiful soul says everything."
Cloud's mum added that she now 'feels show creator Sam Levinson did a wonderful job paying tribute to Angus, and she 100 per cent trusted Sam and his wife, Ashley Lent Levinson'.
Discussing the decision to include the tribute, Levinson told Esquire he hoped the inclusion of the storyline would provide 'a way of honouring Angus and saying a prayer for the future'.

"It's footage that never made it into the show. I thought, oh, it'd be great to use that footage and just see him again - and see the two of them."
He added: "Angus passed away in 2023 from a fentanyl overdose, and fentanyl is an issue that we have been dealing with since the first season.
"What I couldn't wrap my head around is the fact that 73,000 people in the United States were dying a year of fentanyl overdoses, and it seemed like no one was doing anything about it.
"Politicians weren't talking about it to the degree that you would think they would be, and it was just sort of an accepted reality."
