The Sydney Sweeney controversies just keep coming, thanks to the latest season of Euphoria.
Euphoria has always pushed boundaries and tried to shock people, but the storyline for Sweeney's character Cassie becoming an adult content creator has caused a lot of upset of late.
From seemingly dressing as a baby to wearing a puppy outfit, fans have been left unhappy by the direction her role has taken, as well as graphic scenes involving Zendaya as a drug mule.
She has also stripped off fully for the show, with numerous topless scenes as well as one moment that saw little left to the imagination bar some strategically placed fingers.

It's her most X-rated work yet, and Sweeney shared her frustration regarding the creative decision to strip off, and what everyone is focusing on instead, and she insisted she actually refused to do some acts.

The star told The Independent that she actually pushed back against some suggestions, and was never made to do anything she didn't want to: "There are moments where Cassie was supposed to be shirtless and I would tell Sam, ‘I don’t really think that’s necessary here.’ He was like, ‘OK, we don’t need it’."
She defended show director Sam Levinson, who some viewers have criticised for the show's content: "I’ve never felt like Sam has pushed it on me or was trying to get a nude scene into an HBO show. When I didn’t want to do it, he didn’t make me.”
One her recent roles in The White Lotus finally landed her some critical acclaim, and said she's annoyed that her other work has been disregarded because of the nudity.
“With The White Lotus, I felt like people were finally recognising the hard work I’ve been doing,” she fumed.
“This is something that has bothered me for a while. I’m very proud of my work in Euphoria. I thought it was a great performance. But no one talks about it because I got naked," she added frustratedly.
"I do The White Lotus and all of a sudden critics are paying attention. People are loving me. They’re going, ‘Oh my God, what’s she doing next?’ I was like, ‘Did you not see that in Euphoria? Did you not see that in The Handmaid’s Tale?’”
In The Handmaid's Tale she won praise for playing an intense child bride, Eden.
She also hit out at the double standards for nudity onscreen, saying there is a 'a stigma against actresses who get naked' compared to their male colleagues.
Sweeney insisted: “When a guy has a sex scene or shows his body, he still wins awards and gets praise. But the moment a girl does it, it’s completely different.”
