If you're stumped for what to whack on this weekend then look no further than Netflix, which has been providing us with banger after banger for weeks now.

The latest hype on the streaming platform is seeing Netflix viewers urging others to watch an 'amazing' thriller with a Fool Me Once star, after being stunned by the heartbreaking David Tennant-fronted drama, Deadwater Fell.

Now, fans have been 'hooked' on the heartbreaking new thriller you can binge in one night with the The Doctor Who icon playing another doctor - Tom Kendrick - who lies at the very centre of the harrowing murder mystery.

People on X, formerly Twitter, are now recommending thriller fanatics to watch another Harlan Coben series, starring none other than Fool Me Once's Richard Armitage.

The series in question, which first hit our screens back in 2021, is titled Stay Close and follows four people alongside their closet of dark secrets and a past that ends up threatening their lives.

Starring Cush Jumbo - who is also in Deadwater Fell - James Nesbitt and Sarah Parish alongside Armitage, the gripping thriller really questions just how much you really know someone.

One Twitter user penned: "I’m watching a series called The Beast Must Die at the moment (alongside Stay Close, so it’s very confusing having her as the lead in two different shows and keeping track of characters.

"Deadwater Fell is great too, David Tennant is in that one."

A second chimed in: "Seriously! One of my fave categories," before listing their fav shows including SAFE, Stay Close, Deadwater Fell and The Fall."

If you liked Deadwater Fell, you may want to give Harlan Coben's Stay Close a go.

They added: "I wish I could forget all of it and watch these again."

Others couldn't wait to share their praise over Stay Close with one Netflix viewer writing: "Stay Close on Netflix 10/10!"

"Stay Close on Netflix is so effin good!!" gushed a second, while a third quipped: "If you wanna start a short show watch stay close on Netflix I binged that sh*t out in a day!"

A fourth echoed: "Ok Stay Close on Netflix WOW."

"Stay Close on Netflix is good asf," tweeted another, while a sixth advised: "Stay Close on Netflix. Ur welcome."

A final Twitter user added: "I’ve discovered British crime television on Netflix and I’m about to be like those kids who watch too much Peppa Pig and start to talk with an accent."

Well, it's a pretty popular genre - that's for sure.

Both Stay Close and Deadwater Fell are currently available to stream on Netflix.
