His & Hers fans urged to watch 'most underrated psychological thriller on Netflix' claiming it's even more 'shudder-worthy'

His & Hers hit Netflix earlier this month (8 January) and thriller fans are already itching for their next fix

If you're anything like us and you rattled through all six episodes of His & Hers in no time at all, you'll probably be itching for another twisty psychological thriller to sink your teeth into.

And Netflix fans reckon they've found just that with many rushing to social media to share their recommendations for a seriously 'underrated' series, which actually hit the streaming platform five years ago back in 2021.

Also a six-parter, this particular series follows a single mother who enters a world of twisted mind games when she begins an affair with her psychiatrist boss, while secretly befriending his mysterious wife.

It was created by Steve Lightfoot, based on the 2017 novel of the same name by Sarah Pinborough, and stars the likes of Tom Bateman, Simona Brown, Eve Hewson and Robert Aramayo.

According to TV lovers who have watched both His & Hers, which stars The Walking Dead's Jon Bernthal and Creed star Tessa Thompson, as well as the 2021 heavy-hitter, this series is allegedly even more twisty with the 'mind-boggling' ending providing way more of a shock.

If you hadn't already guessed it, the series in question is Behind Her Eyes.

One X user penned: "Between Behind Her Eyes and His & Hers, I still can’t decide which had the craziest plot twist. Behind Her Eyes had me shouting 'wow' for days."

"His & Hers tried to wow me but nothing can ever beat the shock from Behind Her Eyes," commented a second.

A third declared: "When it comes to twists #BehindHerEyes > #HisAndHers. Both are good. But one hits harder and stays with you longer."

"I’ve watched His & Hers," a fourth chimed in. "And I have watched Behind her Eyes! And I just want to say that in the history of plot twists, no twist had ever twisted the way Behind Her Eyes did. I still shudder when I think about it."

Another agreed: "His & Hers doesn’t compare to Behind Her Eyes in my opinion."

And a final X user urged: "If y'all love some thriller-mystery type of series, you better watch Behind Her Eyes. One of the most underrated series on Netflix. And the plot-twist?! Still boggles me, I swear!"

If you happen to have already watched that, there are four other similar programmes you can dive into which should definitely get your heartbeat racing.

These include Dark Winds, Mr. Mercedes, Run Away and The Sinner.

That's this week's viewing material sorted!

Both His & Hers and Behind Her Eyes are currently available to stream on Netflix.
