A new Netflix documentary about a family who have been tragically 'stuck in time' following a heartbreaking cruise ship mystery has left viewers completely heartbroken.
Back in 1998, the likes of Amy Bradley disappeared off the Royal Caribbean cruise where she and her family were vacationing.
The 23-year-old was last seen on the balcony of her family's shared cabin by her father about 30 minutes before she went missing - a key detail which has made it hard to point to any real suspects.

Following her disappearance, Amy's parents, Ron and Iva Bradley, along with her younger brother Brad, began a frantic four-day search to find her with the help of the Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard, as well as a thorough scan of the cruise ship.

To this day, Amy’s whereabouts are still unknown, however, the documentary series speaks with a handful of people who either claim to have seen her or have theories as to where she may be.
But, despite several people claiming to have seen her, both on the ship and on land, each tip has ultimately led to a dead end - something which TV viewers have rushed to social media to share their commiseration over.

A second speculated: "On my couch sobbing…. This case is so incredibly sad. Amy was clearly trafficked and it seems like there were so many instances where she was only one degree of separation from being saved."

Another pointed out: "This Amy Bradley documentary on Netflix just keeps reiterating the same point: people aren’t speaking up. This girl had so many encounters with people who knew something was wrong but didn’t want to help her. So f*ckin sad."

And a final X user echoed: "The saddest thing for me watching this documentary is there were so many chances for someone who said they saw Amy Bradley to do something and yet she was left behind again and again and again."
In 1999, the Bradley family filed a lawsuit against Royal Caribbean.
"The cruise line stated it acted appropriately and responsibly at all times," Tudum reports, adding that, ultimately, the lawsuit was dismissed.
The doc's filmmakers state that, while Amy has still not been located, her family has never given up hope that she might one day return.
