Kate Hudson has opened up about why she still hasn’t married Danny Fujikawa despite the pair getting engaged five years ago, back in October 2021.
Speaking on the latest episode of her Sibling Revelry podcast, which aired earlier this week (8 September), alongside her brother, Oliver, the 47-year-old Song Sung Blue actress spoke with guests Joey and Hunter King about weddings.
Both King sisters opted for destination weddings, with Hudson's brother quipping that doing so was a clever tactic to cut down a sprawling guest list.
This prompted Hudson to share that she and Fujikawa can't seem to reach an agreement on their wedding guest list due to her 'huge' family.

"I still am not married. I’m just engaged. And I keep thinking about [a] wedding, you know, like, 'What are we gonna do?'" she explained, adding: "And then every time we start thinking about, like, who we have to invite, Danny’s like, 'I just want a small wedding.'
"I’m like, 'Our family alone is like 50 people.' Such a huge family. There’s a million kids. There’s a million uncles and aunts and cousins."
Hudson, who welcomed her daughter Rani Rose with Fujikawa in October 2018, also joked about the hefty price tag which would inevitably accompany such a big ceremony.

"That’s part of why I don’t want to get married," Kate quipped. "I’m like, 'It’s too expensive.' I just want, like, hors d’oeuvres. I want to do, like, chips and salsa."
Kate's brother Oliver, 50, then quipped that he and his wife Erinn Bartlett had a cut-throat rule when it came to keeping their guest list manageable.
"My wedding was controversial with my wife, because we did it in Mexico. We only had 80 people," he said.
He continued: "I did not want to meet anyone at my wedding for the first time. So, I said to Erin, 'Look, your girlfriends from high school — I get it, they’re your girlfriends, but I’m sorry, the husbands can’t come.'
"Maybe I’m an a**hole, but I don’t want to be like, 'Congratulations,' 'Hi, what’s your name? Doug? Really nice to meet you.'"
Alongside Rani Rose, Hudson shares two children with two previous partners.
She was married to Chris Robinson between 2000 and 2007 and welcomed now-22-year-old Ryder back in 2004.
She also shares a 14-year-old son, Bingham, with her ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy, whom she was engaged to from 2011 to 2014.
