Pixie Lott has finally shared her baby boy’s sweet name, having given the little one his Instagram debut.
The 32-year-old singer, whose real name is Victoria Lott, announced she was expecting her first child with husband Oliver Cheshire earlier this year, having shared a series of photos showing off her growing bump.
“We are beyond excited to announce we are expecting our first child together and cannot wait to start a family of our own,” she wrote at the time.
She said the baby was due in September, which came and went without an official announcement of the child’s arrival – although paparazzi photos last month showed the new parents out in public with a pram.
However, the couple have now proudly shown off their baby boy to the world, revealing his adorable name.
A photo of the happy family of three was accompanied by the caption: “Albert Charles Cheshire.
“It has already been the most amazing time of our lives with you little Bertie and we feel so incredibly lucky you chose us to be your m and d.”
Lott previously told Vogue that she’d decided to forego a gender reveal as she and Oliver didn’t wish to share the news with others.
She explained: “We were so excited to find out, it's nice to keep that information just for us. Feeling the little kicks with Oli has been magical and I am hooked on getting the little outfits – we are so excited.”
She went on to say that she found singer Rihanna – a mum of two – a huge source of inspiration for both her pregnancy and motherhood.
“When I see someone like Rihanna continuing to perform while pregnant, I find it really inspiring,” Lott said.
“There are some amazing women out there doing it – it’s definitely possible.
“Of course, I haven’t entered the newborn stage – they call it the fourth trimester – when you don’t get much sleep. I’m very aware I might feel differently then.”
The star also heaped praise on her own mother, adding: "My mum has taught me so many things that I want to pass onto my own child.
"She’s a total go-getter who goes out there and makes stuff happen, but she’s also very family-orientated, that’s how she brought us all up.
"It’s why we’re all so close. She’s a rock to so many people – a super mumma – and I hope I can be one, too."
