Lil Tay reveals how much she earned on OnlyFans in two weeks fuelling concerning debate

The internet personality joined the X-rated platform earlier this year, shortly after her 18th birthday

Lil Tay has lifted the lid on how much she earned on OnlyFans within her first two weeks on the platform - and people are divided.

For those who need a reminder, the internet personality and musician turned 18 on 29 July and immediately announced she'd made an account on the adult platform.

She shocked the word when she later disclosed that it took just two hours for 100,000 people to subscribe, claiming she made an unbelievable $1,000,000 within the first three hours of her page being live.

If you're unfamiliar with who Lil Tay is, she rose to fame aged nine after going for viral with clips of her bragging about her wealth. The young rapper would share videos, inspired by trap, of her singing about her money - and the internet loved it.

Now, the 18-year-old, real name Claire Tian, sparked a debate when she first joined OnlyFans as people were shocked by the huge number of people who rushed to subscribe as soon as she turned 18.

And now, the conversation surrounding this has been reignited as she dropped the bombshell that she made $15 million on the X-rated platform in just two weeks.

Bragging about the whole ordeal in a new interview with Page Six, Lil Tay said: “I get to make more money than most people ever f***king touch in their life."

She added: “Second of all, like, I want to do what I want to do with myself and my body. … Every woman should be empowered and every woman should do whatever the hell they want to do.”

The rapper talked about how she was 'broke' growing up, adding: "People say that money doesn’t buy happiness, but it does.”

Lil Tay cited her money issues during childhood as her reason for the career choice, explaining: "That’s exactly why I had to get my money up. And that’s exactly why I can flex on you now and motivate you to get your money up."

However, the interview has understandably reignited the debate, with some people claiming the content shot could have been taken before she was 18, as it was uploaded to her page the moment she hit the milestone.

One user wrote: "SHE WAS STILL A MINOR WHEN THOSE SHOTS WERE TAKEN BE FR RN."

A second added: "Whatever content she has on there was shot when she was a minor" while a third wrote: "Yknow put everybody in prison."

Meanwhile, others chimed in with: "What the f**k is wrong with people" and "The problem isn't the women selling it. It's the men who buy it."

And elsewhere, others defended the OnlyFans creator for her choice and encouraged her to keep earning money.

Someone wrote on Twitter: "Honestly get that bag girl, still weird and creepy. But get that bag."

And another chimed in with: "I don't condone her actions but period queen get that bag."
