Lil Tay broke OnlyFans record the minute she turned 18 and people are making a seriously disturbing point

Tay revealed she made $1,000,000 within the first three hours of her OnlyFans page being live

Lil Tay broke an OnlyFans record as soon as she turned 18 and of legal age - and everyone is saying the same thing.

The internet personality and musician celebrated the milestone birthday on 29 July and shortly after announced she had signed up to the X-rated platform.

For those unfamiliar with who Lil Tay is, she rose to fame aged nine after jokey clips circulated social media of her bragging about her wealth.

In 2018, the young rapper shared controversial videos, inspired by trap, of her singing about her inordinate money.

She revealed today (4 August) that it took just two hours for 100,000 people to subscribe to her account.

The teen, real name Claire Tian, also claimed that she made a staggering $1,000,000 within the first three hours of her page being live.

Writing on Twitter and Instagram, she shared a screenshot for proof and penned: "Not bad for three hours. We broke the f**k out of that OnlyFans record."

And Lil Tay of course has the freedom to make money in any way she sees fit, but the sheer number of people who rushed to subscribe as soon as she turned 18 has understandably left people feeling shocked.

One social media user penned: "Lil Tay launched an OnlyFans on her 18th birthday and made over $1 million in just 3 hours. OnlyFans must be banned."

While a second agreed: "OnlyFans is detrimental to society" and a third wrote: "Anyone who spent money to send lil tay a message on OnlyFans should have their human rights stripped."

"Get the bag but damn. That many men were waiting for you to turn 18," someone else chimed in with.

"Whoever is paying y'all some f***ing creeps and weirdos," wrote another.

"Imagine dudes counting down the minutes till she hit 18 just to sub… y’all need help fr," another user added.

It isn't the first time this controversial topic has come up online and a few years ago rapper Bhad Bhabie agreed that people who joined her OnlyFans the minute she turned 18 years old should be in jail.

Now 22, Bhad Bhabie - real name Danielle Bregoli - similarly rose to fame at a young age at just 13 following her explosive 2016 appearance on Dr. Phil.

Forbes reported that she had a similar experience to Lil Tay and her account raked in more than $1 million (£823,000) in her first six hours alone.

She went on to land at number 16 on the Top Creators list, with her total earnings for 2021 estimated to be $51 million (£42m).

In a 2023 episode of Barstool Sports' Sundae Conversation with Caleb Pressley, the host asked her if the people who joined should be in jail, to which she said: "Yeah".
