Kim Kardashian sparks Louvre heist conspiracy theory after latest look sparks concern

After Kim Kardashian rocked a new look, fans have been joking about her part in the infamous Louvre heist.

The SKIMS founder, 44, has always had a sense of out-of-the-box fashion, but this time she's taken it to a whole new level.

From the time the reality star donned Marilyn Monroe’s original 1962 ‘Happy Birthday Mr. President’ dress at the Met Gala, to when she dressed up with caution tape, Kim has been making moves in the fashion world.

I mean, she even released a new SKIMS collection that's turned heads in every direction. It was the faux-pubic hair underwear that cost £34 per pair and was pegged as ‘The Ultimate Bush collection’ on her site that sold out in record time.

But her Academy Museum Gala outfit on 18 October is something we’ve never seen from her before. And in true social media fashion, people have been poking fun at her for it.

Kim's floor-length gown was all nude, with a mask that covered her entire face and hair. But it was the massive adornment of chunky jewels at her neck that had everyone talking about The Kardashians star.

According to People, the gown is part of the Maison Margiela Fall 2025 Couture collection, but the mask was an addition. And if you believe online commenters, Kim is obviously the culprit responsible for the jewel heist that occurred over the weekend.

Scarily, French crown jewels were stolen by thieves during the daytime raid, leaving investigators scrambling to find out who could have pulled it off.

Paris prosecutor Laure Beccuau said on Tuesday (21 October) that the stolen items were worth an around £76 million, but no arrests have been made yet as the museum reopened today.

While a terrible thing to have happened, fans have jested that Kim’s chunky jewels point to her as the thief.

One person wrote: “what if kim kardashian stole that louvre jewels and thats why she was hiding her face at the academy museum gala.”

Another joked: “I suspect Kim Kardashian robbed the Louvre jewelry; since her birthday is on October 21st, I suspect she wanted a special gift. She must have studied law for a reason.

@KimKardashian is in Paris.”

Someone else said: “Well....we found the stolen jewels.....”

Obviously, it wasn’t her as she was attending the event the day before the jewels were stolen, but it’s definitely a timely joke that fans used to their advantage once they saw her get up.
