Kim Kardashian's brain aneurysm news has sparked a debate among fans after surprisingly, it sparked some backlash online.
For those not up to speed, the reality TV icon, 45, left fans floored last week when she revealed a major health woe she'd been struggling with behind the scenes.
In the latest episode of The Kardashians from its seventh season, Kim shared that she'd been diagnosed with a brain aneurysm, which was reportedly triggered by stress in her personal life.
A teaser clip showed the mother-of-four undergo an imaging scan before she said: "There’s like a little aneurysm."

As per the NHS, a brain aneurysm is a swelling in a blood vessel in your brain. If the aneurysm bursts it can cause a bleed on your brain, but this is rare.
Most brain aneurysms are small and do not cause symptoms and they're most often found during a test for another condition.

In the teaser, Kim's big sister Kourtney is then seen exclaiming, "Woah!", after Kim adds: "They were like, 'Just stress.'"

The camera then cuts to footage of Kardashian sister crying over her recent law exam, before it again cuts to a 1-1 interview with her talking about her divorce from Kanye West.
She said: "I’m happy it’s over. My ex will be in my life no matter what. We have four kids together."
Kim filed for divorce from Kanye back in 2021, citing 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason. Kanye's behaviour in public had begun causing concern the year before, following his diagnosis of bipolar in 2016.
Earlier this month, she appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast, where she further opened up on the divorce and explained: "It makes it really hard to continue on in a relationship that can be toxic. When you have kids, it's definitely harder to leave than it is to stay. And it changes everyone's life forever."

Since sharing her brain aneurysm news, Kim has been met with a slew of support from her fans who are sending her well wishes.
However, as we say, the announcement has also sparked conversations over access to healthcare.

One TikTok user penned under the clip taken from the teaser: "Wish I had the money to just get a random MRI scan on my brain when I’m feeling under the weather."

While someone else agreed: "Yes being rich doesn’t mean no stress but u can pay for therapy for scans for best doctors and treatments."
And a third wrote: "Yes but imagine being broke and being rich there is a huge difference."
However, others have rushed to Kim's defence and pointed out that we don't know the details yet behind what led to her getting a brain scan.
And, of course, just because celebrities are rich, doesn't mean they don't deserve some sympathy when going through difficult health challenges.

One fan wrote: "Under the weather?? Kanye was extremely bipolar and refused to take his medication. He was unwell, and she praised him regardless. I’d say her getting help is pretty warranted."
While others chimed in with: "Ugggh well she clearly needed it done because stuff came up…" and "Hardly just under the weather mate."
"Yes she's rich but it don't mean she doesn't deserve a bit of sympathy," agreed someone else.
