It's been over three years since her divorce from Kanye West was finalised, but still, Kim Kardashian is paying the physical price of the high-stakes split.
In the latest episode of The Kardashians from its seventh season, the mother-of-four broke the news that she'd suffered a major blow to her health, which had reportedly been triggered by personal stress.
For those in need of a reminder, Kardashian, 45, filed for divorce from the controversial rap star in 2021, citing 'irreconcilable differences' at the time. The year prior, West's behaviour in public had begun causing concern following a diagnosis of bipolar in 2016.

As well as launching a far-right presidential campaign, the musician, 48, began making erratic and often offensive remarks in the open - largely online.
The 'Stronger' star also made damning accusations against both his wife and her family on social media.

The star's mental health struggles, unpredictable behaviour and public controversies have meant that his relationship with now-ex Kardashian has remained strained ever since their split, with the reality TV star recently opening up about his relationship - or, lack thereof - with his children.

Unfortunately for Kardashian, West's public breakdown has also had a very real impact on her health, with the SKIMS boss revealing in a teaser for the upcoming season of her Hulu series that she'd recently suffered an 'aneurysm'.
In the trailer, she is seen going into an MRI scanner, later telling her famous family: "There was a little aneurysm."
Her visibly horrified big sister Kourtney is then seen exclaiming, 'Woah!', after which Kardashian explains: "They were like, 'Just stress'."
The camera then cuts to footage of Kardashian crying over her recent law exam, before cutting to a 1-1 interview with her as she discusses her divorce.

"I’m happy it’s over," she tells viewers. "My ex will be in my life no matter what. We have four kids together."
According to the NHS, an aneurysm occurs in the brain when a blood vessel in this area begins to swell up. In severe causes, if this aneurysm bursts, a bleed on the brain can be triggered.

Explaining the impact of situational stress, one social media explained: "Stress triggers the release of hormones like adrenaline and cortisol, which raise blood pressure.

"This increased pressure can weaken the walls of blood vessels, making them more susceptible to aneurysms."
Another emphasised the importance of celebs putting their mental wellbeing first, given the high-pressure nature of their job, adding: "People see the glam, the businesses, the fame, but this kind of thing is a reminder that stress can seriously affect anyone, no matter how strong or successful they look.
"Hopefully she’s okay now and taking care of herself, because that kind of health scare changes your whole perspective on life."
A third also noted: "It’s wild how often we underestimate the physical side effects of emotional stress a reminder to slow down and take care of yourself."

Several long-term followers of the show also commended Kim, for both leaving a relationship that proved detrimental to her health, and shedding light on the physical affects of mental turmoil.
"Kim surviving kanye is her biggest flex yet," one fan gushed.
Another added: "Kim out here dropping bombshells again… stress from a divorce nearly taking her out? Reality TV just got way too real."
And a third went on: "I hope she feels better."
