Love Is Blind season 11 has had everyone on the edge of their seats for weeks, and now, contestant Rob Feeley has revealed what actually caused him to have the ‘meltdown’ that ended his engagement to his ex- fiancée, Michaella Giorgio.
Those who have already binged the Netflix dating show will know that Rob, a 40-year-old who works in AI Infrastructure Sales, connected in the pods with Diana Perrone and Michaella, but ultimately got down on one knee for the latter.
However, things turned sour during a night out at a Boston bar, where Rob introduced his new fiancée to his closest friends.
One of them started making inappropriate and sexual comments towards her, including asking her whether she’s ever had an OnlyFans, and as reported by TODAY, another said: “You look like a hot Italian mother that makes good meatballs, good pasta, and you know how to, like, play around in the bedroom.”

But instead of stopping his friend from making her feel uncomfortable, Rob had an outburst with the off-camera producers after they confirmed that the restaurant had cut his friend off from ordering more drinks.
Breaking his silence on his behaviour at the mixer, he admitted: “I probably should have handled it in a more mature way and not crashed out.”
Adding: “I was getting frustrated with the cameras in my face constantly.”
Then, he had another ‘meltdown,’ as Michaella called it, when the cast gathered for a St. Patrick's Day mixer, where he became increasingly paranoid about how he was being portrayed, shouting: "I'm going down in this thing as the biggest piece of s***. Right where Netflix wants me, buddy."
He explained that this was caused by a few different things, but apparently not Michaella reuniting with her past pod connection, Matt Waldrip.
Rob told Tudum: “I thought everything was bulls***. I know that people found love, but I thought at the moment, it’s just all for the show. It’s all for the camera.”
He added that he’s begun feeling the pressure that his mother had been shopping for her dress, for a wedding that may not go ahead.
“I felt it crashing down. I was letting everyone down,” he reflected.

Rob said: “I could have handled things a little bit differently towards the end, but there was a lot of anxiety in my life, a lot of pressure," referring to the loss of his father not long before the show started filming.
The dramatic blow-up led the couple to call off their engagement, and speaking to the publication, Rob explained that he got back to their shared apartment after the mixer, packed his stuff, and left.
“It wasn’t really a discussion. We separated, and then it was just over,” he said.
Reflecting on the experience, he clarified that he wishes he had stayed more ‘calm’ and ‘even-keeled,’ admitting: “If I hurt somebody, that wasn’t my intent.”
Michaella revealed that a couple of days after the mixer, Rob reached out and they talked on the phone for hours, with him telling her that the ‘crash out’ had nothing to do with her.
She told the outlet: “I was like, ‘Well, how am I supposed to take that? It is about me. This whole experience is about you and me, not just you.’”
However, she ended things on a more positive note, telling Tudum: “Rob is a really great guy, and I think he has a heart of gold, the best of intentions, and just some work to do on himself.”
