Following her appearance at the BRIT Awards this weekend, Kelly Osbourne was forced to fend off a number of cruel online comments about her weight.
Tragically, however, this is far from the first time the 41-year-old has spoken out against image-related trolling.
For those who missed it, Kelly was joined on the red carpet of Manchester's Co-op Live Arena by her mother, former X Factor judge, Sharon.
Together, the pair accepted a posthumous lifetime achievement award on behalf of Kelly's father, Ozzy Osbourne, who died in July of last year following a heart attack. The late Black Sabbath star also suffered from Parkinson's disease and a number of other health issues prior to his passing.

Taking to the stage, Kelly donned a chic black gown which she paired with layers of gold chains and a chic, golden-blonde bob.
She thanked the audience for loving her late father 'as much as we do', before referencing Ozzy's beloved football team, Aston Villa.

"I hope I don’t disrespect Manchester by saying this, but up the Villa and Birmingham forever," Kelly joked.
What happened after the BRITS?
Despite the special honour being bestowed upon her family, the evening was subsequently tainted for the media personality, after she was subjected to online comments that hinged on her petite physique.
The following morning, Kelly shared a statement on Instagram with her 4.4 million followers, hitting out: "There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something."
Claiming she feels forced to 'defend herself' once again, the mother-of-one added: 'Kicking me while I’m down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most.
"None of it proves strength; it only reveals a profound absence of compassion and character."

Kelly went on to describe the 'hardest time in my life' in light of her father's passing, insisting: "I should not even have to defend myself. But I won’t sit here and allow myself to be dehumanised in such a way."
What else has Kelly said about her health?
Trolling torment:
As we say, however, Kelly's latest plea for peace comes after several other statements she's made, condemning supposed 'concern' for her physical wellbeing as disguised 'abuse' in disguise.
The week prior, after sharing several snaps from her recent appearance at a London Fashion Week, she was forced to respond to a remark made about her dainty appearance.
Kelly shared a screenshot on her story of a troll comment that read, 'Looks like a dead body… She’s tooooo thin and fragile… Looks like she’s going to see her dad soon'.

Responding, The Osbournes star hit out: "Literally can't believe how disgusting some human beings truly are! No one deserves this sort of abuse!
"This too shall pass, but like, holy f**k."
Ozempic rumours:
Again, back in December, Kelly was compelled to share a similar statement online, where she attempted to squash long-standing speculation that she used weight loss jabs to lose weight.
"To the people who keep thinking they're being funny and mean by writing comments like 'Are you ill,' or 'Get off Ozempic, you don't look right'," she wrote at the time. "My dad just died, and I'm doing the best that I can, and the only thing I have to live for right now is my family."
The May prior, she discussed her general well-being during an appearance at The Beacher Vitality Happy & Healthy Summit, claiming she's struggled to read a news article about her that 'hasn't got a comment about my weight'.

"I have been a drug addict, an alcoholic," Kelly told attendees. "I’ve been a complete mess, disrespectful to people, horrible.
"But I got more s**t for being fat than I did for anything else. It’s insane."
She continued: "People [would] say, ‘You’re so pretty. Why don’t you just lose a little bit of weight, and then you’ll be the total package."
As to how she got out of that harmful headspace, Kelly claimed: "I tried probably everything that there is out there, whether it be surgery, medication, diet and exercise. I got my mind where I needed it to be, and everything started to fall into place."
Gastric surgery:
The star underwent a gastric sleeve surgery in 2018, to which she attributed losing a staggering 85 pounds.
Two years later, she told Hollywood Raw podcast hosts Dax Holt and Adam Glyn: "I had surgery; I don’t give a f**k what anyone has to say. I will never ever ever lie about it ever. It is the best thing I have ever done."

She added that, following the procedure, she implemented a healthy diet and took up new forms of exercise.
"If you don’t work out and you don’t eat right, you gain weight," Kelly explained at the time. "All [the surgery] does is move you in the right direction."
Non-surgical treatments:
Years later, Kelly told Extra she'd also undergone a number of non-surgical treatments since welcoming her son, Sid, in 2022.
"I had the baby, and my stomach got so many stretch marks, and the skin, it looks like it lost its elasticity," she continued.
Following Sid's birth, Kelly was also diagnosed with gestational diabetes, which she claimed oddly helped her lose weight when postpartum.
"How they figured out I was gestational was that I was gaining a lot of weight, but I wasn’t eating that much," she told listeners of the Scheananigans with Scheana Shay podcast in 2023.

"And it turned out that the placenta blocks the way your body filters through sugar, and it will go one way or the other, where you’ll lose a lot of weight or gain a lot of weight, and I gained a lot of weight."
Kelly went on to confess: "I was on a mission after having the baby to lose all my baby weight. And then I was like, well, I lost all the baby weight, let's see how far I can go with it.
"[I] went a little bit too far but [I] stopped."
Baby blues:
The comments came a year before Kelly claimed she gained '100 pounds' whilst pregnant.
She told PEOPLE in 2024 that her weight gain while expecting spurred her to stay indoors for the majority of her pregnancy.
"I just didn't want pictures out there," she claimed. "I didn't want to face it and have people be like, 'Oh, she's a moose!' So I just cut the problem out."

Aside from her frame, Kelly previously opened up on her battle with Lyme disease, which she's endured since 2004.
She was only diagnosed with the condition, which is transmitted to humans via tick bites, in 2014, however.
