People are convinced that Kayla Nicole took a savage swipe at ex Travis Kelce and his fiancée, Taylor Swift, with her Halloween costume.
For those who aren't up to speed, the 34-year-old sports journalist and Kansas City Chiefs star, 36, began dating back in 2017 and were in an on-again, off-again relationship for five years, before eventually calling it quits in 2022.
Then, in July 2023, the Travis and Taylor dating rumours began after he shot his shot during the singer's Eras Tour, by publicly making it known he wanted to give the singer a friendship bracelet with his number on.
We all know what happened next - fast-forward two years, and the celebrity couple got engaged when the tight end got down on one knee in August.

Then, Kayla and Travis' relationship was thrown back into the spotlight last month when the pop star released her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, which fans think included a dig at his ex.

The lyrics in question, which are featured in the song 'Opalite', say: "You couldn’t understand it, why you felt alone / You were in it for real, she was in her phone / And you were just a pose."
And now, as we say, the internet's latest theory is that Kayla's Halloween costume is a dig at none other than Tay and Trav.

For those who missed it, she dressed up as Toni Braxton and recreated the R&B icon's music video for her 2000 hit song, 'He Wasn't Man Enough For Me'.
She sported a metallic bikini set, with a see-through rhinestone dress thrown over the top and filmed herself dancing like the singer does in her music video, while mouthing along to the lyrics.
The hit song goes: "Did you know about us back then? Do you know I dumped your husband, girlfriend? /'I'm not thinking 'bout him / But you married him / Do you know I made him leave? / Do you know he begged to stay with me? / He wasn't man enough for me."

Kayla shared an Instagram post revealing her costume alongside the caption: "She’s an icon. She’s a legend. She’s @tonibraxton circa 2000. #Halloween25."
As we say though, fans were convinced that the journalist was throwing some serious shade at her ex and his fiancée.
In the comments, one user penned: "Will the real showgirl step to the front!!!!!" while a second wrote: "YOU CLEARED THE ROOM!!!!!!! Omg. The level of petty, slayage and pure decimation needs to be studied. Omg."
"This is too good! But also, we heard THE MESSAGE," agreed a third.

While a fourth chimed in with: "TMZ is about to have a time with this pose. Theeee perfect costume + song! YOU ARE HER!"
And a fifth agreed: "She made a whole album obsessing over you and you STILL got the last cackle."
"This whole time I thought you was just doing your annual Halloween thingy but this was actually some hot tea," added someone else.

However, others are convinced it's nothing more than a Halloween outfit and people are looking way too deep into it, with one person writing: "If Kayla coughs it’s about Travis .. leave her alone . She literally doesn’t bother anyone."
Another wrote: "So a girl can’t wear a cute costume that reveals her hot self without it being about her famous ex? It’s not like it’s a glitter bodysuit."
