There’s something about an advent calendar that makes the festive season feel extra magical.
Usually, it’s chocolate or beauty minis, but Lovehoney has turned the whole concept on its head with its infamous adult toy advent calendars — and they sell out every year.
Instead of a daily sugar rush, you’re treated to a different kind of rush with a new vibrator, toy, or accessory every day in the run-up to Christmas.
But do they live up to the hype? We put all four calendars in the range to the test to find out. Here's your exclusive sneak peek inside...

This year, Lovehoney is selling four calendars at different price points.
They promise huge savings (up to 65 percent off the retail value) with high-end pieces like the Womanizer and We-Vibe tucked behind the doors. The idea is that you get to build a collection gradually, trying different sensations and discovering what you actually like.
Having put four of them to the test myself (a real sacrifice, you’re welcome), here’s exactly what’s inside, what’s worth shouting about, and what felt a little 'meh'.
1. Lovehoney Couple’s Advent Calendar 2025 (24 days)

- We-Vibe Sync Lite app-controlled vibrator
- Womanizer Classic suction stimulator
- USB rechargeable bullet with seven sleeves (G-spot dildo, finger vibe, wand, rabbit, prostate, cock ring, cock ring with bullet)
- toy gel
- wipes
- orgasm balm
- kegel balls
- crystal butt plug
- nipple clamps
- spanking paddle
- blindfold
- cuffs
- bed restraints
- stroker
- body massager
- card game
- massage oil
This is the 'everything but the kitchen sink' calendar. It’s like being handed a full toybox in 24 installments. The bullet system is clever: you open the rechargeable bullet early on, then add sleeves as you go, building a whole collection. The Womanizer Classic and We-Vibe Sync Lite are big-ticket inclusions that would usually cost more than the whole calendar, so in terms of value, it’s pretty unbeatable (in my humble opinion).

2. Lovehoney Enjoy Pleasure advent calendar (24 days)

- Womanizer Mini 2
- bullet vibrator with sleeves
- G-spot vibrator
- suction cup dildo
- penis stroker
- anal plug
- anal beads
- set of cock rings
- mini massager
- nipple clamps
- pasties
- feather tickler
- blindfold
- satin restraint
- mini paddle
- dice and card game
- massage oil
- candle
- kegel balls
- toy wipes
- toy gel
This is the most affordable calendar, and it’s ideal for beginners. The Womanizer Mini 2 is the clear highlight (seriously, suction toys are game changers if you haven’t gotten into them yet), and the mix of toys feels fun without being intimidating. Some bits felt like filler (the nipple pasties didn’t wow me, I guess I'll save them for some kind of racy theme party?), but for under £80, it’s a playful entry point that still delivers real value.

3. Lovehoney Discover Romance Advent calendar (12 days)

- We-Vibe Jive 2
- rechargeable bullet with sleeves
- blindfold
- butt plug
- body massager
- orgasm balm
- toy gel
- toy wipes
- massage oil
- satin restraint
This calendar is aimed at couples who want something a little more intimate. The We-Vibe Jive 2 alone costs £119.99 (and it can be controlled remotely via a free app by your partner!), so the rest of the toys feel like a bonus. It’s less about sheer quantity and more about connection — the massages, the blindfold, the shared toy — and it’s a great option if you’d rather focus on quality time.

4. Lovehoney Indulge in Pleasure Advent calendar (12 days)

- Venus Glow clitoral suction stimulator
- rechargeable bullet with sleeves
- silicone mini wand
- butt plug
- anal beads
- kegel balls
- nipple clamps
- blindfold
- massage oil
- orgasm balm
- toy gel
- toy wipes
This one’s designed for people who are already pretty comfortable experimenting. It’s got anal toys, clamps and more kink-focused accessories, but also two premium toys — the Venus Glow suction stimulator and a mini wand. If you’re flying solo and know what you like, this feels like the most luxe option.

My standout picks from Lovehoney’s 2025 Advent calendars

Out of everything, there were a few toys that completely won me over:
- The Womanizer (Classic & Mini 2): I get the hype. That suction technology is unlike anything else — powerful but not overwhelming, and it makes for the most reliable orgasms. Definitely my top pick.
- The seashell-style Venus Glow: surprisingly elegant, easy to hold, and felt different enough from the Womanizer to earn a spot in my regular rotation. I’m also a sucker (pun intended) for a sex toy that just looks pretty.
- The We-Vibe Sync Lite & Jive 2: These couple’s toys were genuinely fun. Being able to control them via app added an extra layer of excitement, especially if you’re long distance.
- The open-ended stroker: This was a pleasant surprise. Simple, discreet, and when paired with the bullet, surprisingly versatile. Great if you’re sharing the calendar with a partner.
Are Lovehoney 2025 advent calendars worth it?
One of the cleverest things about Lovehoney’s calendars is how they’ve spaced out the bullet accessories. Instead of just opening a random little toy each morning like you’re ten again (but with much more risqué surprises), you’re essentially building your own custom sex toy collection. A bullet here, a sleeve there… by the end, you’ve got a whole kit of mix-and-match options that actually make sense together.
The variety also deserves a mention; you’re not just stuck with endless dildos. One day it’s massage oil, the next it’s a blindfold, or a set of kinky cuffs, or something you may not have habitually picked up for yourself. There really is something for everyone, whether you’re dipping a toe into the world of toys or you’re already halfway to a Fifty Shades spin-off.
I also do appreciate the fact that each calendar has a lubricant gel (water-based) and wipes – it’s the kind of less ‘sexy’ thing you may not think of buying when you get a sex toy, but hygiene and comfort are one of the most important things if you’re getting down and dirty.

And then there’s the value. When you consider that the Womanizer Classic retails for £119 on its own, getting a whole advent calendar for less feels like daylight robbery (in the best possible way).
It’s that rare case where treating yourself actually makes financial sense (well, kind of).
But, let’s be honest; not everything inside is a showstopper. A candle and some nipple pasties? Cute, but not exactly life-changing.
Also, if you’re not the owner of a vagina, you may feel a bit restrained by the options presented in all these calendars.
And if you’re already deep into the world of bondage, a couple of the restraints might feel more starter-pack than pro-level dungeon. Great for beginners though — and there's no shame in that!
Final verdict: the best Lovehoney advent calendar for you
Lovehoney’s 2025 advent calendars live up to the hype.
They’re playful, excellent value, and a clever way to try toys you might never pick up individually. Overall, I would say it’s down to personal preferences and how much you’re willing to spend.

If you’re looking for variety and premium vibes, the Couple’s calendar is the winner with its 24 different gifts. If you’re solo and curious, the Indulge in Pleasure has everything you need. And if you’re on a budget, the Enjoy calendar is the easiest way to dip a toe in.
For me, the Womanizer and We-Vibe toys alone made it worthwhile. Everything else was a bonus.
Honestly? Best December countdown I’ve ever had.
