Any fans of Katy Perry will no doubt still be reeling after her new beau, former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, 'hard-launched' their relationship.
Just last week (3 December), Trudeau, 53, paid a visit to former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yuko.
However, what really caught people's attention was the fact that he was accompanied by none other than the 41-year-old 'Fireworks' singer, who was referred to as his 'partner'.
Kishida shared a snap of the foursome along with a caption. The translated post reads: "Former Canadian Prime Minister @JustinTrudeau visited Japan with his partner and joined my wife and me for lunch.

"During his time as prime minister, we met multiple times as fellow leaders, and when I visited Canada, we worked together to strengthen bilateral relations, including formulating the 'Japan-Canada Action Plan,' sweating it out side by side."
Kishida concluded: "I am delighted that we continue to maintain this friendship in this way."
Now, while many fans were delighted after seeing the photo, some slammed Katy's choice of attire, a matching khaki skirt and jacket co-ord, as 'inappropriate' for such a formal setting.
"Her outfit looks absolutely inappropriate for this type of diplomatic engagement," one X user hit out.
A second questioned: "That’s what she decided to wear? I feel like I’m being trolled."
"Wouldn’t kill her to consult a stylist if she will be the former head of state’s +1 at official events, though," a third chimed in as a fourth jabbed: "Can she get a fashion adviser?! Short skirt and the boots [hides face emoji]."
Trudeau promptly replied to Kishida's post, writing: "Great to see you @kishida230. Katy and I were so glad to have the chance to sit down with you and Yuko. Thank you, Fumio, for your friendship and your continued commitment to both the international rules-based order and to a better future for everyone."
Just yesterday (7 December), Katy herself 'hard-launched' Trudeau right back, including him in the second photo of her latest Instagram photo dump.
The sweet snap in question saw the pair cosied up in a smiley selfie together with other clips, seeing the couple enjoy a number of activities in Japan.
The pop icon captioned the post: "Tokyo times on tour and more."
People in her comments section seemed a lot more supportive, with one Instagram user writing: "TRUDADDY LAUNCH!"
"The way he’s looking at her," gushed a second.
And a third beamed: "Couple goals."
Trudeau and Katy were seen together for the first time back in July on what seemed to be a romantic dinner date in Montreal.
Since then, the pair have been spotted on several occasions, with a source previously saying of Katy's new relationship with Trudeau: "They haven’t been able to spend a lot of time together as she’s on tour, but they’re constantly in contact — always FaceTiming and messaging each other.
"He can’t believe someone as glamorous as Katy is interested in him, whereas she’s flattered that such a respected politician wants to date her."
Trudeau and his ex-wife Sophie Grégoire share three children and went their separate ways in 2023 after eighteen years together.
Perry and her ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom co-parent their five-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove. They spent nine years as a couple before ending things earlier this year.
