Amy Schumer and Chris Fischer have legally divorced just over 10 months after announcing the end of their seven-year marriage.
According to PEOPLE, the comedian, 45, and her professional chef ex, 46, were officially separated by law earlier this week after New York Supreme Court records updated the status of their case to 'disposed'.
While the exact date their divorce was finalised remains unclear, as divorce records are sealed in New York, court documents indicate the case’s disposition date was changed to 25 February.
The news comes after the former couple reportedly reached a divorce agreement in September, with their proposed divorce judgment submitted to a New York court on 24 September, according to Us Weekly.

Schumer and Fischer were first romantically linked in 2017 before tying the knot in Malibu, California, in February 2018.

They welcomed their son, Gene, now seven, two years later.
The pair announced their separation in December 2025 after seven years of marriage.
Rumours about the couple’s relationship began circulating in November 2025 after Schumer shared a photo without her wedding ring.
The Trainwreck star was quick to address the speculation at the time, explaining that she did not usually wear jewellery before shutting down suggestions that her weight loss or Fischer's autism diagnosis had contributed to their marital difficulties.
"Whatever ends up happening with Chris has nothing to do with weight loss or autism," she wrote on Instagram in December 2025. "Fingers crossed we make it through, he’s the best."
However, just days later, Schumer confirmed that the pair had decided to end their marriage.

Sharing a photo of the two together on the New York City subway, she wrote: "Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years."
She continued: "We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time."
Schumer also took the opportunity to dismiss further speculation about the reasons behind their split, joking that it was not because she had lost weight or because Fischer was an award-winning chef who could still attract attention.
She concluded her statement by insisting their separation remained amicable, adding: "Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever."
The funnywoman filed for divorce in January 2026, with the case listed as uncontested.

Despite their separation, reports suggested the pair remained on good terms, with a source telling PEOPLE at the time: "There's nothing ugly. It's a cohesive split. They've just been finalising a few things."
Another source told Us Weekly that Schumer still cared deeply for Fischer, but their relationship had changed over time.
"Amy still adores Chris, just not romantically," the insider said, adding that he was 'a great guy and an even better father'.
The source also suggested there had been no major incident behind the breakup, explaining that the relationship had gradually changed and the pair agreed it was no longer what it once was.
