Justin Trudeau has been seen on his ex-wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau's Instagram story, amid his ongoing romance with Katy Perry.
For those not in the loop, the former Canadian Prime Minister, 53, and 'Firework' hitmaker, 40, set the internet on fire over the weekend when photos emerged of them kissing on a yacht in California. The unlikely pair were photographed on the upper deck of the boat, thought to be Katy's, on 29 September by tourists who were on a whale-spotting charter.
Although neither have outwardly confirmed their relationship, fans think Kate made a cheeky reference to Justin while onstage in London earlier this week (13 October).
"No wonder I fall for Englishmen all the time… but not anymore," she joked, as per The Sun.

Katy was seemingly also referring to her ex, British actor Orlando Bloom, who she shares a five-year-old daughter with and split from in July of this year.

Meanwhile, Justin parted ways with his ex wife Sophie in 2023 after 18 years of marriage. They share three children together - Xavier, Ella-Grace, and Hadrien.
However, the two have seemingly remained amicable and even spent time together to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving as a family on Monday (13 October). Sophie shared a slew of Instagram stories from the heartwarming day, with one featuring Justin himself.

It showed the former PM making himself a plate of food while smiling for the camera next to their youngest child and another family member. He wore a dark green T-shirt paired with jeans and was donning a pair of glasses.
She also shared a photo of their Thanksgiving dinner and their dining room set up for the family meal.
Sophie went on to share a picturesque snap of a lake, alongside the caption: "Lucky to be alive, loved and most of all, with family for Thanksgiving! Sending you Light…"
It comes just after Sophie shared a post about 'letting go' amid the Katy romance speculation - however, fans quickly pointed out it was likely referring to her dad's death.

She said in an Instagram video: "Nothing we love is meant to be kept.
"The people, places, even the moments that once felt infinite, time asks us to not cling to them and yet, we do. To hold on feels safer than to let go but love was never about possession it was always about presence.
"The present moment. And when we release what we cannot keep, we make space for the truth of connection, intimacy, the memory, you know, for the lesson, for the way a single smile can echo across a lifetime."

One follower: "Beautiful. Timely."
While another added: "Not you releasing this after your ex was seen with Katy Perry."
However, a third made sure to point out: "Her dad literally died a year ago. And she literally mentions her dad in her message. This message is about acceptance of someone who you love passing away, and holding on to the beautiful memories you shared with them."
