Katy Perry seemingly made a joke about her surprise 'romance' with Justin Trudeau after those pictures sent the internet wild.
For those of you who have no idea what we're talking about, over the weekend, pictures emerged of the 'Firework' singer, 40, and former Canadian Prime Minister, 53, seemingly getting cosy on a yacht.
The very unexpected pair were spotted embracing on the upper deck of the boat on 29 September by tourists on a whale-spotting charter who couldn't believe their eyes.
Katy and Justin were reportedly on a 24-metre yacht belonging to the pop star, the Caravelle, while sailing in the Santa Barbara Channel, California, with a surprised onlooker claiming that they started locking lips.

At the moment, Katy is currently on her Lifetimes World Tour, and fans think she made a cheeky quip about Justin while onstage in London last night (13 October).
The superstar performed a slew of her hits at the O2 Arena, including 'Teenage Dream,' 'Roar,' and 'Firework,' as well as songs from her seventh studio album,'143'.
According to The Sun, in a segment where she was chatting to the crowd, the singer reportedly said: "London, England, you’re like this on a Monday night after a whole day at work and a whole day at school?"

She then added: "No wonder I fall for Englishmen all the time… but not anymore."
Of course, the 'Englishmen' Katy said she falls for is referring to her ex, English actor Orlando Bloom, and possibly even her ex-husband Russell Brand, who is also British.
Katy and Orlando, 48, had been together since 2016 and got engaged in 2019. They welcomed their first child, Daisy Dove, in 2020.
Before this, she was married to Brand for two years after tying the knot back in October 2010 until their marriage came to an end in July 2012.

The publication also reported that Katy received a joke marriage proposal from a fan during the show, but turned it down and said: "I wish you’d asked me 48 hours ago."
But as we say, it looks like the American songstress is firmly done with English men and has seemingly turned her attention to Canada - and fans are obsessed with the unexpected 'romance', joking that Katy is 'Queen' of the country.
The two were first spotted together in late July when they were together on what appeared to be a date in Montreal.

Just one day later, the former Canadian PM was spotted in the crowd at one of Katy's Canadian shows as part of the tour, adding to the romance speculation.
When the yacht pictures came to light, fans took to social media to express their shock.
One Reddit user penned: "This is so unexpected. What the Helly," while a second added: "Katy Perry... and Justin Trudeau???"
While a third quipped: "Yeah honestly now that I see them together it makes perfect sense to me lol. They seem like the match and would make a good couple."
