Fans have been left baffled after a video of Justin Bieber and IShowSpeed dancing together has done the rounds online.

As far as unexpected celebrity duos go, the Canadian ‘Baby’ singer, 31, and American YouTube legend, 20, coming together is pretty up there.

For those who aren’t familiar with IShowSpeed, he’s a famous internet personality with over 42.7 million followers on YouTube.

The 20-year-old, real name Darren Watkins Jr, is best known for his chaotic live streams, as well as sports and video game content, where his followers watch him play the likes of Roblox, Fortnite, and FIFA.

He’s also known for his very public love of football legend Cristiano Ronaldo and even got to meet his hero a few years back.

Meanwhile, Bieber is still enjoying the success of his new album Swag, which he surprised his fans by releasing on 11 July.

Featuring 20 singles, it’s his seventh studio album and comes almost five years after his last release, Justice, in 2021.

The album touches on everything from mental health to spousal issues and features collaborations with Sexyy Red, 2 Chainz, and even comedian Druski.

While the two are obviously very successful separately and in their own different ways, it seems no one expected them to come together.

According to eagle-eyed fans, the pair were thought to be hanging out at a SWAG x Skylrk party in Los Angeles, California, US, on Thursday night (24 July).

Skylrk is Bieber’s clothing and lifestyle brand, while Swag is the album name, and it looks like IShowSpeed got an invite to the big celebration of both.

A video that’s set the internet on fire sees the unlikely duo shaking hands and dancing together - and fans can’t get over the collab.

One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote: “I never thought I'd see the day! This is so unexpected and awesome!”

Meanwhile, a second and third chimed in with: “The most random link up I've ever seen in my life” and “What could they possibly be talking about?”

“This duo makes zero sense and that’s why it’s perfect,” gushed a third.

While another fan penned: “2 legends united, imagine what both of them could do together.”

“Both of them should come together for a song, it will break the internet,” added someone else.

While others simply chimed in with: “The link up we didn't know we needed to see ishowspeed x JB” and “wtf is Justin bieber doing with ishowspeed??”

“The crossover we didn't expect,” added someone else, alongside a shocked emoji.

Others agreed: “Insane linkup, mann” and “How did Speed end up holding hands with Justin Bieber?”

And another happy fan quipped: “Being a fan of Justin bieber since 2009. Now seeing my streaming goat Speed linking up with him is a massive W.”
