Justin Bieber delivered a very stripped-back performance at the Grammys yesterday (1 February).
The 31-year-old Canadian singer, who was a four-time nominee during the annual awards evening in categories including Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best R&B Performance, treated fans to a performance of 'YUKON' wearing only a pair of satin sparkly lavender boxer shorts and socks.
The outfit choice, or lack of, left fans at home slightly perplexed, with many rushing to social media to share their confusion over his unexpected get-up.
One X user penned: "Justin Bieber performing at the Grammys in just his underwear..."

"Why is Justin Bieber performing in his underwear?" questioned a second, as a third chimed in: "Why tf is Justin Bieber only in underwear on stage?"

A fourth echoed: "I don’t get it? Why?"
A fifth said: "why tf is justin bieber only in underwear on stage," while a sixth complained about it, claiming they needed 'bring back making an effort'.
Meanwhile, someone else claimed there was a 'double standard' in male pop stars 'being allowed to be mediocre while women have to be EVERYTHING'.
And a final X user added: "Justin Bieber in his underwear on the Grammys stage was not on my bingo card for 2026."
Well, fans of Bieber will no doubt know that he's been plugging his Skylrk brand for quite some time now, which, according to its official website, sells phone cases, jeans, socks, sliders and sunglasses. It also, unsurprisingly, sells boxer brief three-pack sets from £46 a pop.
And, if you hadn't guessed it already, the athletic shorts Bieber donned for his Grammys performance yesterday were in fact from Skylrk.

The brand's logo could be seen on the waistband and was also embroidered with crystal patches all over.
Bieber's stunt seemed to have paid off, given that the Skylrk boxers reportedly sold out within 'just a few minutes after the performance' per the New York Times.
The 'Baby-' hit-maker last took the Grammys stage in 2022, when he performed 'Peaches' from the album Justice.
Bieber’s Grammys performance signalled a comeback for the singer after a long absence, given that he has barely performed live since cancelling his Justice world tour in 2022 over health issues.
He is due to headline Coachella later this year April, which will be his first US concert since then.
Swag, his seventh studio album, landed in July last year as a surprise drop, marking his first release since Justice in 2021.
Tyla has reached out to Bieber's representatives for comment.
