Justin Bieber has quietly changed his 'disrespectful' caption in a recent social media post about his wife Hailey after fans were left seriously outraged by his original comments.
The 31-year-old 'Boyfriend' singer took to Instagram earlier this week on Tuesday (20 May) to share a series of snaps following Hailey's debut Vogue cover interview.
However, it was far from your expected husband-to-wife congratulatory post as Justin oddly used it as an opportunity to share a very intimate anecdote about a fight he and the 28-year-old model once had, along with the 'mean' remark he made towards her at the time.

Now, the edited caption of the post - which is two screenshots from the Vogue article - currently features just four emojis; a man shrugging his shoulders, a pointing finger, a heart made with a pair of hands, and a pleading face.

However, people quick to upload a screenshot the post's original caption which was far more loaded.
It begins: "Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight.

"I told Hails that she would never be on the cover of Vogue. Yikes I know, so mean."

Justin, who shares eight-month-old son Jack Blues with Hailey, continued: "For some reason because I felt disrespected I thought I gotta get even.
"I think as we mature we realise that we're not helping anything by getting even," he went on, "we're honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection."

Justin rounded off the message with a direct message to his wife of seven years: "So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn't get a Vogue cover cuz clearly I was sadly mistaken."
Fans were quick to share their thoughts on both the original message as well as the quiet caption change with one Instagram user writing: "Not him changing the caption..."
"The caption change is crazy," hit out a second, while a third chimed in: "'Sadly mistaken' is diabolical in this sentence... bestie, just say congrats, I love you or something."
A fourth slammed: "What the helly."
"Bro thought he would edit the caption and nobody would notice tf you’re a celebrity Justin c’mon now you don’t have to share everything here!" declared a fifth, while a sixth quipped: "Justin 😭 idk if this is how you say congrats to your wife lol."

Another echoed: "The irony because posting this caption instead of congratulating her is actually wild af and mean."
And a final fan added: "Millions of girls dreamed of being Mrs Bieber one day but God knew he was saving that hell for his strongest soldier."
