A lipreader has been interpreting celebrity conversations from the Golden Globes and one particular clip has left fans intrigued.

Jackie Gonzalez - who you might recognise from the first season of Squid Game: The Challenge - is a lipreader who regularly posts interpretations of celebrity interactions.

For example, in September, she revealed an entire conversation between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, meanwhile she also predicted what Selena Gomez and Taylor were gossiping about during the 2024 Golden Globes.

With this year's award show having taken place on Sunday (5 January), Jackie has been busy interpreting heaps of celeb interactions.

But it was one specific conversation that her followers were very curious about.

In a montage shared on her social media, Jackie started off by lip reading comments Zendaya made to a woman facing away from the camera.

It's worth noting here that Jackie makes it clear that 'lip reading is not a reliable form of communication' and 'all statements are alleged'.

Zendaya begins: "How are you feeling? Are you... what are you up to? I feel like I haven't seen you..."

It seems Zendaya then begins responding to something the woman says, as she adds: "I do think she might."

Jackie then moves on to other celebrities, but fans were left wanting more, with many desperate to know who Zendaya was talking to and who she was discussing.

One commented on the clip: "Who is Z talking to?"

While another said: "Who is zendaya talking to?"

And a third added: "WHO IS SHE AND WHY DO WE THINK SHE MIGHT?"

Many people believed Zendaya was chatting to Ayo Edebiri, but it's not totally clear from the footage.

Other moments from the 2025 ceremony Jackie has lipread include Zoe Saldaña saying 'oh my God, what the f**k' to herself as she goes up to collect the award for Best Supporting Female Actress for Emilia Perez.

She also claims to have captured Selena Gomez cryptically telling fiancé Benny Blanco: "I was waiting," and Andrew Garfield exclaiming: "Oh for f**k's sake."

Followers were also quick to discuss another clip of Zendaya, which showed her coming face-to-face with a recently-engaged Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco.

In a clip recorded by the Hollywood Reporter and shared on X, Gomez and Blanco - who announced their engagement on social media last month - could be seen creeping up on the former Shake It Up star while her back was turned.

Zendaya eventually notices musician Blanco, 36, with her eyes visibly widening and her flashing a nervous smile in his direction in a reaction that has kept viewers in hysterics.

Resharing the video, one social media user wrote: "Zendaya being completely terrified staring at Benny Blanco at the Golden Globes is sending."

Another joked: "Her face always says what we’re all thinking."
