Questions have been arising over the official dress code for the Grammy Awards after Chappell Roan broke the internet with her X-rated dress last night (1 February).
There's no doubt that in recent years, celebrities have been getting more and more creative with their red carpet looks at big events like this one.
For some A-listers, gone are the days where a simple black gown will suffice, as famous faces are taking the opportunity to create a viral fashion moment and shock those of us watching at home.
Take Kanye West's wife Bianca Censori for example, who last year dropped her fur coat to reveal a completely see-through mini dress which showed off her bare breasts and nether regions.

And as we say, the 'Pink Pony Club' singer, 27, has got the whole world talking about her choice of attire, with some loving it and others slamming the experimental look.

For those who missed it, Chappell showed off her daring sense of style in a burgundy custom Mugler gown that was attached to her nipple rings, while the rest of the dress covered her body in a translucent fabric.
Her bare chest was visible, as well as her collection of body tattoos - however, the singer's make-up artist did reveal to Marie Claire that the nipples were prosthetic, for those who had health concerns over the outfit.
The star's look certainly divided opinion online, with some people even questioning whether it was legal.
One Twitter user asked: "I never watched these award programs but found this interesting. It's legal to dress like this in public?"
While a second wrote: "Thought the Grammys had a dress code. Nudity like this should not be acceptable for events and she should’ve had her butt kicked out the door!"

And a third chimed in with: "Looks like the Grammys no longer has any kind of dress code."
The official dress code for the Grammys
While there was no public dress code shared for this year's event, Raj Kapoor, the executive producer behind last year's Grammys, previously told PEOPLE Magazine that 'artistic black-tie' was the dress code listed for the star-studded event's guests, adding, 'but in the music industry, I guess that's up for interpretation'.
He said: "Obviously there is a dress code for anybody actually performing on the show that we have to adhere to standards and practices."
Adding: "But as far as people attending and nominees attending, that would be something the [Recording] Academy [presents the Grammys] would have to answer."
People were also shocked by Justin Bieber's on-stage ensemble this year - or the lack of it.

The 31-year-old Canadian singer was nominated for Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best R&B Performance at this year's ceremony after he dropped two unexpected albums and returned to music last year.
He also performed during the ceremony and treated fans to a rendition of 'YUKON' wearing only a pair of satin sparkly lavender boxer shorts and socks.
Confused social media users penned: "Justin Bieber performing at the Grammys in just his underwear..." and: "Why is Justin Bieber performing in his underwear?"
While other Twitter users added: "Why tf is Justin Bieber only in underwear on stage?" and "Justin Bieber in his underwear on the Grammys stage was not on my bingo card for 2026."
However, it appears that the move was to promote his Skylrk brand and the boxers in question have since sold out - a risk that was worth it then!
Tyla has contacted the Grammys for comment.
