Brooklyn Beckham almost has awkward run-in with David and Victoria during holiday in same place

The whole point of a holiday is to relax, but Brooklyn Beckham ended up narrowly avoiding a run-in with his estranged family.

There has been an ongoing 'feud' between Brooklyn and his parents, Victoria and David, and as luck would have it they ended up holidaying just five minutes away from each other.

Imagine travelling across the world for a trip to the South of France only to find the last people you want to see are just down the road. Awks.

According to Metro, Victoria and David were spotted in St Tropez, after first spending time in the Balearic Islands with their other children.

They were photographed on a boat, with doting dad David taking some down-time after the chaos of the World Cup.

He was spotted spending time with Romeo, and was snapped taking a shower on the deck.

Not only did the estranged family all choose St Tropez, they all went for a boat themed trip as Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were spotted on Sir Elton John's yacht.

Sir Elton is known to be close with David and Victoria, which has led to speculation that he may be attempting to act as peacemaker for the family.

The superstar musician is Brooklyn's godfather, and he and husband David Furnish were photographed all sitting round a table together on the boat.

Safely back on dry land, it seems great minds think alike as Brooklyn and his parents both picked places to dine mere minutes away from one another.

David and Victoria looked very happy, walking hand-in-hand to the Cherry restaurant, described as an Italian-New York speakeasy.

Close by, Brooklyn decided to do a bit of shopping at Jacquemus, before grabbing an ice cream at Barbarac, round the corner from where his parents were dining.

A source told The Sun that despite Sir Elton's best efforts, 'nothing has changed' between the family.

They continued: "That is to say, neither party has reached out to the other.

"It’s devastating and, of course, David and Victoria would love nothing more than for their eldest boy to be with them on holiday.

"Instead, Brooklyn is living it up in the South of France with Elton, who has previously tried playing peacemaker — albeit to no avail," they revealed.

The source continued, revealing how Sir Elton can relate to what the Beckhams are going through: "Elton loves Brooklyn dearly and understands better than anyone the pressures of fame and families falling out.

"He was estranged from his own mum for a few years before making up with her,"

They added: "He has tried speaking to both sides, but also respects Brooklyn’s wish for silence. The only thing that will heal this rift is time."

We will have to wait and see if they can make amends.
