Despite The Secret Lives of Gypsy Wives landing less than a month ago, Trewley-Precious has already become one of the most distinctive names on TV - and this week, she finally revealed the touching story behind it.
Channel 4 viewers were introduced to 'main character' Trewley-Precious in the very first episode, which aired on 20 July, immediately sparking questions over the protocol members of the Romani community follow when naming their children.
The whole series focuses primarily on the 26-year-old, a TikTok creator navigating life between two worlds, and her family.
Born to a Romani Traveller father and a non-Traveller (or 'gorger') mother, viewers see Trewley reflecting on the realities of being caught between the expectations of her close-knit family and her own ambitions.

While her sisters, Ruby Ann, Honey Peaches and Pearly Girl, have embraced more traditional paths of marriage and motherhood, Trewley dreams of building a career as a social media star - something she's been working on behind the scenes.
In fact, she's amassed a huge online following away from the show, thanks to her candid videos and larger-than-life personality.
But while fans have become familiar with her unforgettable first name, many have wondered where it actually came from.
In a recent TikTok Q&A, Trewley-Precious asked her mum to explain the story behind her unusual name, revealing it has a deeply emotional meaning rooted in the difficult circumstances surrounding her birth.
Her mother explained that she suffered a placental abruption two months before her due date, leaving both her and her unborn baby fighting for their lives.
"We both nearly died," Tina Wass explained. "It was literally just fate that we were in the hospital at that time. I haemorrhaged and lost nearly all my body blood, so I had a transfusion.

"They reckon Trewley only had about 5-10 minutes of oxygen left and then she'd have been stillborn."
After she was born, Trewley-Precious spent almost two months in the ICU and underwent brain scans after doctors feared she may never be able to walk.
Despite those bleak predictions, she went on to make a full recovery.
Laughing, Trewley-Precious chimed in to joke: "I can walk, talk, dance, MC, on the mic, like me!"
Smiling, her mother continued: "So, that's why she's so special. That's why we called her Trewley-Precious Sunshine - she's our little miracle."
Shortly after the clip was uploaded, thousands of fan comments came pouring in, praising Tina for reflecting on her difficult labour and choosing such an apt name for her fan-favourite daughter.
"Seeing your mum get so emotional talking about this and you comforting her is the wholesome content I needed today," one gushed. "Two beautiful and strong women!"

Another wrote: "Both stunning. Perfect name. What a precious story, thank god you and your mum are ok."
"Love this so much! Perfect name for you, TP," a third added.
