Ariana Grande has been flooded with praise for her response following the misuse of her song by the White House.
The 32-year-old singer warned the White House not to use her music after doing so in a social media video which promoted its 'inhumane' and 'barbaric' immigration policies.
It shows officers putting people in handcuffs, ushering them into cars and then putting them into detention centres.
The TikTok reel was shared to the platform earlier this week on Monday (8 June) and shows border agents placing people in handcuffs, set to the sound of Grande's 2024 song 'Bye'.
The White House captioned the clip: "Bye-bye [waving hand emoji] President Trump has delivered the most secure border in history."

Grande also shared several screenshots which included the same sentence in the comments section.
The TikTok sound is no longer 'available', and her comments seem to have been removed.
Responding to Grande, White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson said: "We’ll say this one last time: what’s actually barbaric, inhumane, and heinous are the criminal illegal aliens who have injured and murdered innocent American citizens."
The sound has since been removed (TikTok/@whitehouse) After catching light of Grande's response, fans rushed to social media to share their praise, with one writing: "ARIANA COMMENTING SCREENSHOTS OF HER REPLY MULTIPLE TIMES ON THE WHITE HOUSE AND THEY MUTED HER EACH TIME????"
"She removed the sound hahaha, I love her," penned a second.
A third chimed in: "SOUND REMOVED MWAH."
"This is so f*cked up, btw," lamented a fourth as a fifth echoed: "This is embarrassing for the country and the government."
A sixth commented: "She commented FOUR times because they kept hiding her. I love her. Ariana Grande's ALWAYS gonna be on the right side of the story!"
Another praised: "Go on, queen. She removed the sound, lmao."
And a final fan added: "Good job, Ariana."
Grande slammed the White House video for promoting its 'inhumane' and 'barbaric' immigration policies (TikTok/@arianagrande) A number of fellow Hollywood A-listers have called out the Trump administration for using their music to promote the president's policy agenda.
In 2025, 'Espresso' singer Sabrina Carpenter slammed the White House after it used her 2024 song 'Juno' in a compilation video showing protests against ICE agents before panning to multiple arrests as the lyrics 'Have you ever tried this one?' are repeated three times.
"This video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda," she wrote at the time.
Tyla has reached out to the White House for comment.
