The White House has issued a savage response to Ariana Grande after she shared a political message to Donald Trump supporters.

Grande, 32, joins the many fellow celebrities who have openly spoken out against the Trump administration after previously revealing she voted for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris in last year's presidential election.

In her latest statement regarding the Republican's politics, the Wicked star posed a series of questions to those who voted for Trump after 250 days of him being in office since his inauguration back in January.

Raising concerns over the treatment of immigrants in the US, trans rights and the state of free speech, Grande reshared the message to her 373 million followers on Instagram.

What did Ariana Grande say about Trump supporters?

Taking to Instagram on Sunday (28 September), the Grammy award-winning star reshared a post by social media creator, Matt Bernstein, to her story, which read: "I want to check in with trump voters. I have one very genuine question: It's been 250 days.

"Now that immigrants have been violently torn from their families and communities have been destroyed, now that trans people have been blamed for virtually everything and live in fear, now that free speech is on the brink of collapse for us all - has your life gotten better?"

The statement continued: "Have your groceries gotten cheaper? Has your health insurance premium gone down? Has your work/life balance improved? Can you take a vacation yet? Are you happier?

"Has the widespread suffering of others paid off for you in the way he promised it would, or are you still waiting?"

White House response

It didn't take long for the White House to hit back at Grande with spokesman, Kush Desai, telling LADbible Media Group: "Save your tears, Ariana, because President Trump’s actions ended Joe Biden’s inflation crisis and are bringing in trillions in new investments.

"He even signed an executive order just like magic that paved the way for the FTC to crack down on Ticketmaster for ripping off Ariana Grande’s concert-going fans."

The official statement then rounded off: "Get well soon, Ariana!"

Tyla has reached out to Ariana Grande's representatives for comment.

Trump's America

The 79-year-old made a series of false claims during his United Nations address last week (23 September), claiming that energy prices, gasoline prices and grocery prices were all down in the US, and that inflation had 'been defeated'.

Trump continues to make such statements despite the fact that electricity prices have soared in America.

Additionally, inflation was up in August, and even Fox News viewers think he’s failing on the economy.

A recent Fox News poll reportedly saw 52% of respondents stating that the Trump administration ‘had made the economy worse' over the last six months, with just 30% believing that things had actually improved.
