The Trump administration has once again taken time out of the day to put together a statement following a celebrity voicing their opinion on the government and/or US President Donald Trump himself.
In the past, Trump hasn't been shy in firing back at a number of celebrities, including Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift, with the latest star to find themselves in the firing line being none other than 26-year-old 'Espresso' singer Sabrina Carpenter.
The whole ordeal started when the White House shared a shocking video to its official X account showing protests against ICE agents before panning to multiple arrests to the soundtrack of Sabrina's 'Juno' song as the lyrics 'Have you ever tried this one?' is repeated three times.

Making a reference to 'Juno' once again, a song which sees Sabrina simulate various sexual positions to illustrate the track's raunchy lyrics when on tour, the White House captioned the 21-second-clip: "Have you ever tried this one? Bye-bye [wave emoji, heart eyes emoji]."
After catching light of the video, Sabrina took to X on Tuesday (2 December) to hit out: "This video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda."
The singer was inundated with praise from fans for using her platform to speak out on the White House clip, with one X user writing: "Thank you for speaking out on this!"

A second echoed: "Thank you for having a backbone."
"Yes, ma’am," praised a third.
And a final X user added: "That's called having a spine."
The White House has since responded to the pop icon and appeared to make reference to her 2024 album, Short n' Sweet, as well as her hit song 'Manchild'.

Spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told Reuters: "Here’s a Short n’ Sweet message for Sabrina Carpenter: we won’t apologise for deporting dangerous criminal illegal murderers, rapists, and pedophiles from our country.
"Anyone who would defend these sick monsters must be stupid, or is it slow?"

Trump, who is the first convicted felon to serve in the presidential role, has frequently promoted an aggressive campaign against illegal immigration since his second term began in January, with both the president and the White House regularly being called out for its accompanying 'insensitive' and 'inhumane' social media posts.

Just a handful include the 'sickening' ASMR video showing immigrants in shackles as they prepared to board a deportation flight from Seattle, Trump's AI video of him 'dumping faeces' onto protesters and the 'embarrassing' photo depicting Trump as Superman.
Tyla has contacted representatives of Sabrina Carpenter for further comment.
