Netflix has just picked up yet another true crime docu-series, titled Conversations With A Killer and centres around notorious serial killer Ted Bundy.

The four-part documentary series comes exactly 30 years to the day after Bundy was executed by electric chair for the 1978 murder of Kimberly Leach.

Titled Conversations With A Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes, this true-crime addition will arrive on the streaming platform in the new year on 24th January 2019 and will take viewers "inside the mind" of a serial killer.

The four episodes will sample never-heard-before interviews with Bundy while he was on death row in Florida for a string of murders. Bundy confessed to murdering over 30 women in the 1970s, and viewers will get to hear details of the killings he was convicted for.

The series will look into this strange idolisation of Bundy by a number of women and the media frenzy surrounding his trial, as well as his bizarre marriage to Carol Ann Boone in the middle of court, who was testifying on his behalf at the time.

Bundy was a serial killer, rapist and kidnapper, and investigators have always feared there are more victims to be uncovered.

Created by Emmy winner Joe Berlinger, Conversations With A Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes joins the likes of popular true crime docu-series already available to stream on the platform like The Staircase, The Keepers and Making A Murderer parts one and two.

Joe has also directed soon-to-be-released film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and vile with Zac Efron portraying the serial killer (who looks chillingly similar to Bundy).

Netflix announced the addition to its platform on Twitter, sharing: "Ted Bundy is the subject of Netflix's next documentary series.
