Chilling True-Crime Doc On Women Who Kill Is Dropping Tonight

Chilling True-Crime Doc On Women Who Kill Is Dropping Tonight

If you are a true crime fanatic, you're going to want to head over to the Quest Red channel tonight to watch The Lady Killers.

The new series will explore the most shocking crimes committed by women, from driving a car into a colleague, to killing an elderly widow and kicking a man so hard he fell into a coma after a robbery went wrong.

But tonight's show, starting at 10pm, will focus on Susan Warne, who murdered a pensioner for the sake of £300.

Warne from Leiston, Suffolk, stabbed her 80-year-old uncle to death, just three days after attempting to mug an elderly lady - all to fund her gambling addiction.

Her uncle, John Proctor, was well-liked with seemingly no enemies, but in 2015 he was suddenly and brutally murdered.

He was found stabbed and strangled at the bottom of the stairs and it turned out, it was his own 41-year-old niece that had committed the brutal attack.

The show will now take a closer look at Warne and her initial denial, as well as her motives and will hear from the detectives who let the investigation, who convicted her based on a video they found on her phone.

The video saw her admit her guilt in what sounded like a suicide note.

Warne had stolen just £300 from her uncle, but sickeningly went gambling just hours after his murder. She was given a life sentence, and now has to serve a minimum of 20 years.

It sounds *soooo* chilling.

We all love to get stuck into a true crime documentary, so we're clearing our diaries ready for tonight.

Next week's show will take a deep dive into Sabah Khan from Luton. A woman who was having a long-running affair with her sister Saima's husband and who went on to murder her due to jealousy.

It's not the only true crime documentary you can get stuck into right now though, as Making a Monster has just started on Crime+Investigation has just started on Crime+Investigation too.

The first episode which aired on Monday was all about prolific murderer Rose West and we are also set to see an episode on Levi Bellfield, the murderer of Milly Dowler.

Lady Killer is on Quest Red tonight at 10pm.
