Sharon Osbourne announces name of daughter Kelly's baby boy

X Factor star Sharon Osbourne has announced the name of her daughter Kelly and Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson's baby boy

Sharon Osbourne has announced the name of her daughter Kelly's baby boy and it's incredibly cute.

For those not in the know, Kelly welcomed her first child into the world in November with her partner Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson.

The 38-year-old confirmed her pregnancy in May 2022 several months after announcing her relationship with the 45-year-old rock star.

Now that she's given birth and is enjoying being a mum for the first time, the couple have decided to keep their baby out of the spotlight.

But grandma Sharon was able to offer up a little tidbit while speaking on her return to TalkTV alongside JJ Anisiobi.

"They’re doing just so great. So great," she said. "She won’t let a picture go out of him and I’m so proud of her."

As for the name, they've gone with Sidney - a tribute to his musician dad, whose full name is Sidney George Wilson.

Kelly previously shared an ultrasound scan image with her fans back in summer, writing: "I know that I have been very quiet these past few months so I thought I would share with you all as to why… I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma.

"To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic!"

People were quick to congratulate the former singer, including Paris Hilton who said: "So happy for you sis!!! Congratulations! Love you!"

Stacey Solomon also joined in, writing: "Congratulations Kelly! Sending you all the love and cuddles."

Natasha Bedingfield added: "I’m so happy to welcome u to the mum club!"

The couple went with the name Sidney.

Kelly previously spoke about the fact that she wanted to have a child during a June 2021 appearance on Red Table Talk.

"Yes, I feel very behind," she admitted. "As a woman, I would have loved to be married and have children by now.

"My brother [Jack] has three daughters and I would have loved to have kids by now, but that wasn’t what was in the cards for me yet.

"I would have been no kind of mother at all because I was that crazy addict that was like, 'Oh yeah, I’ll stop doing drugs when I get pregnant because I have to.' Like, that’s insane that I would ever even think that."

In a separate interview, she opened up about why she's decided not to breastfeed her child.

"I have chosen to stay on my medication instead of breastfeeding and the judgment that I have received from my friends and also extended family is wild," she shared.

In response to the people who said she may miss out on a bonding experience with her child, Kelly told the hosts: "I’m like, 'Don’t you think I know that?' What kind of mother am I gonna be if I start going backwards, if I start being self-destructive?

"It has to be what’s best for me, what’s gonna be the best for my baby. If I don’t do that, what kind of mother am I going to be?"

The former Fashion Police presenter said she's now learned she 'can’t pay attention' to other people’s opinions.
