For Sharon Osbourne, her weight loss journey hasn't exactly been smooth sailing - especially when it comes to her use of Ozempic.
The former X Factor judge first admitted to administering the controversial Type-2 diabetes drug in a bid to shed a few extra pounds in 2023, ahead of a visibly-daintier appearance on Celebrity Big Brother.
Viewers of the show were concerned about the speed by which Sharon had been able to shed the weight, after the 72-year-old confessed to having been prescribed Ozempic by her doctor.

In recent years, more and more huge-name stars have admitted to also taking the hotly-debated drug - the active ingredient of which is semaglutide, an appetite suppressant - including Oprah Winfrey, Rebel Wilson, and James Corden.

And when British star Sharon first confessed to using it, she spoke positively, telling E! News it assisted in her almost halving her weight when it was over 230 pounds.
What the talent show judge only recently disclosed to fans, however, is that her extreme Ozempic-induced weight loss came at a mighty price.

Speaking to the Daily Mail recently, Sharon claimed her prolonged use of the drug has left her unable to pile on a single pound, despite her having stopped taking it.
The 'frustrated' star told the publication: "Now, I weigh just over 7st. I need to put on 10lb, but however much I eat, I stay the same weight."
She continued: "I’ve had enough. I’ve given up on all interventions. I couldn’t have much more facial surgery - there’s not that much skin left to stretch, pull or cut. And I won’t have any more fillers or Botox.
"I don’t think I’ll ever be happy with the way I look."

Sharon went on to claim that she's finally 'learned her lesson' when it comes to the widely-discussed weight loss 'hack'.
"This is me," she insisted. "It’s finally time to leave well alone."
During an appearance on The Talk last year, the TV star also opened up on the other ways that Ozempic has had an adverse affect on her health, revealing she battles constant sickness.

"I was very sick for a couple of months," she admitted. "The first couple of months, I just felt nauseous.
"Every day I felt nauseous, my stomach was upset, whatever. But listen, I took it for four months, I lost 30 pounds."

She also vowed to cut down her use of the drug in the months prior, claiming during a conversation with Piers Morgan on TalkTV that the amount of weight she'd lost said had affected her confidence in the worst way.

"It’s just time to stop," she told viewers at the time. "I didn’t actually want to go this thin but it just happened."
"I'll probably put it all on again soon!" Sharon added, seemingly unaware of the difficulties she'd have in achieving this in the future.
