But as infamous as her name might be, the youngest Kardashian-Jenner sister recently revealed that she almost wasn’t named Kylie at all. Find out what could have been in the vid below:
It seems before she got the name that would later line the shelves of makeup aisles, Kris and Caitlyn Jenner were charmed by a different name altogether.
And in true Kris Jenner fashion, it’s no surprise that Kylie’s almost-name began with the letter K, the same initial all her older sisters and mum share – something that’s always been a distinguished part of the Kardashian-Jenner brand.
The young multi-millionaire opened up about the name she was almost given in a TikTok with her four-year-old daughter Stormi, telling fans: “My name is Kylie but it was almost…Kennedy”.
She then followed up the revelation with a series of images of herself, so fans could visualise the name on her for themselves.
And as quick as lightning, TikTok users took to the comments to share their thoughts on the name that could have been.
Some contemplated her makeup brand as 'Kennedy Cosmetics' instead of Kylie, and another remarked that it 'would have been elite' as a name.
Certain users felt particularly passionate about her almost-name.
One said: “I feel that in my soul you are Kennedy.”
Meanwhile another proudly announced: “I am now naming my child Kennedy.”
For some fans, however, they think Kennedy would have been too similar to her older sister Kendall Jenner’s name, as one user commented: “Love that name but it would’ve been too close to Kendall.”
The similarity between Kendall and Kennedy crops up multiple times in the comments, as others also observed that if she’d been named Kennedy, she and her older sister would have shared the nickname Kenny.
“No bc you and Kendall can’t both be called Kenny,” one fan proclaimed.
But although the young Jenner probably could have pulled off Kennedy (clashing nicknames aside), Kylie agreed herself that it just 'doesn’t hit the same' as the name she ended up with.
And much like Kylie, many of us have stories about the names we almost ended up with in infancy.
So, while it’s weird to imagine a world with the Kennedy and Kendall Jenner sisters, it’s still kind of fun to visualise what could have been.
