People have defended Cardi B after she swore in front of her three-year-old daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus.

The rapper, 29, took to her Instagram story to share her baking what looked like homemade brownies before her dog started barking – and what Cardi said in response was less than PG. Watch the clip below:

Cardi told her dog to 'shut up you sl*t', to which her daughter replied: "Why are you saying that?"

"Because she's getting on my nerves," Cardi says.

After the clip was shared on TikTok, while some criticised her for using that language in front of her daughter, others flocked to the comments in support of the star. After all, who hasn’t had a bad word slip up in front of their own child?

“Bro that's nothing,” one social media user wrote.

“You have never seen an eastern European family,” another quipped.

Another added: “It ain't that deep…”

“My mum’s worse,” someone else admitted of their own mother’s foul language.

“If this is bad y’all don’t wanna hear my mother curse,” another echoed.

Someone else added: “You need to chill, my family also cursed like that when I was little and I grew up fine. It isn’t that deep.”

A different commenter joked: “Latina mums be like.”

“Y’all are doing too much, your parents be swearing in front of you anyways,” another added.

Cardi became a parent to Kulture alongside her partner Offset in 2018, while the pair also share eight-month-old Wave Set Cephus together. Offset is also father to three other children, Jordan, Kody, and Kalea.

Elsewhere, fans recently defended the pregnant Rihanna after she was seen sipping from a champagne glass.

The singer-turned-fashion-mogul shared a video on her social media channel applying a Fenty face mask with her hair wrapped in a towel and champagne glass in-hand.

After trying out her new face mask, Rihanna captioned the video: "And that’s on self-care bih."

Amid the usual comments of love and support from fans, there were some messages from concerned viewers who assumed the brand founder was drinking alcohol while heavily pregnant.

"Alcohol isn't good for the baby," one commenter said.

"Drinking while heavily pregnant?" asked a second.

A third then warned the star: "ur pregnant girl don’t drink alcohol."

However, it wasn't long before fans were fending people away from the star. You can read more on that here.
