Rihanna Announces Pregnancy With New York Photo Shoot
Congratulations are in order.
Congratulations are in order for Rihanna, as the singer is expecting her first baby.
The singer revealed the surprise news after going for a walk in New York City with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky.
Rihanna, real name Robyn Fenty, showed off her baby bump while out for in Harlem - and it's safe to say she looked incredible.
Rihanna and A$AP, real name Rakim Athelaston Mayers, are thought to have started dating in November 2020, having known each other throughout touring and performing together in the 2010s.
Rocky has described his relationship with Rihanna as special, referring to her as "The One."
Speaking to GQ last year, the performer explained: "[Relationships are] so much better when you got the One.
"She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones.
"I think when you know, you know. She’s the One."
He added starting a family was "in his destiny", explaining: "I think I'd be an incredible, remarkably overall amazing dad. I would have a very fly child. Very."
Rihanna has always been keen about starting a family. Speaking to British Vogue, the Barbadian star said she hoped to have a healthy brood in ten years time.
"Ten years? I’ll be 42! I’ll be ancient," she said. "I’ll have kids - three or four of ’em.
"The only thing that matters is happiness; that's the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That's the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love."
