Viewers Call Love Island A Fix As Finale Results Are Revealed

Fans of the show are convinced it's fixed after the couples in third and fourth place were revealed.

Love Island fans are convinced that the show is 'rigged' after the couples in third and fourth place were revealed in tonight's finale.

In third place were Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope, and in fourth place came Asha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page. Watch below:

The news was revealed during tonight's live finale that saw the four remaining couples leave the villa that has been most of their home for the past two months.

Fans of the show were quick to express their outrage at the result, with many speculating that the show was rigged the moment the fourth place couple was announced.

One wrote: "Tasha and Andrew 4th??!! RIGGED."

A second agreed, adding: "THIS IS A FIX MICHEAL OWEN HAS PAID FOR THIS [sic]," while a third remarked: "tasha and andrew 4th? not luca and gemma? british public is mental [sic]."

Viewers' reactions on social media only grew more extreme when Indiyah and Dami came third.

One wrote: "If Gemma and Luca win I know once and for all that this country is addicted to misery."

"This is so rigged im literally getting goosebumps [sic]," wrote another.

Sharing a picture of Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti, a fan declared: "if they aren’t 1st place, this show is rigged [sic]."

"IF LUCA AND GEMMA HAVE WON THIS SH*T IS RIGGED," complained another alongside a picture of fire.

A fifth wrote: "luca and gemma over dami and indiyah?!?!? nope. rigged 100% [sic]."

"Hahahahahha theres no way this isn't a fix????" questioned a sixth viewer. "If you voted gemma and luca ur not well in the head [sic]."

A seventh declared: "Total fix, no way Veneers and Daddy's Girl in the final two [sic]."

In fact, the issue was so discussed that 'RIGGED' began to trend on Twitter.

It wasn't long after this that fans of the show then began to share pictures of their favourite couples that were hashtagged 'My Winners'.

The news comes amid an emotional episode that saw the remaining four couples enjoy their last day in the villa.

This began with a dance class before they got dressed up in their glad rags and declared their true feelings for each other in emotional speeches.

This included a lot of memorable moments, like Andrew revealing that he fell in love with Tasha when she opened up about her cochlear implant which she calls her 'superpower'.

Who do you think will be crowned the winners?
