The Indian love story follows Asha (Pallavi Sharda), who is put under serious pressure by her parents to find a husband.

After breaking off her engagement and quitting her high-rolling city job, Asha decides to move to New Jersey and join a startup - and she couldn't be happier.

That is until her mother decides to take Asha's love life into her own hands, and sets up an online dating profile for her to find her the perfect match.

Coincidentally, Ravi (Suraj Sharma) is going through a similar tiff with his own parents, and the reluctant pair soon find themselves on a date they never asked for.

Although Asha and Ravi agree they're not suited for each other, they agree to fake a relationship to keep their nagging parents at bay and make it through the dreaded wedding season.

But as they dance their way from wedding to wedding, the couple might just realise that their parents were onto something after all.

People are loving Netflix's Wedding Season.
