Love Island Fans Spot Clue Twitter Challenge Is Coming

Fans have been wondering where the iconic challenge has been and it looks like it could be making a return!

As this year's season of Love Island draws to a close, fans have been calling out for a return of some of the show's most memorable challenges.

While we've had confirmation that the baby challenge will soon be upon us, fans have also spotted a clue that the Twitter challenge is returning too. The Dirty Dancing challenge is always a classic:

The Twitter challenge typically sends sparks flying in the villa when the islanders learn what the public really think of them and their relationships.

So what's the clue? Well, the Love Island team recently updated the biography of their Twitter account, disclosing to users that their tweets may appear elsewhere... like the show itself.

The new bio reads: "@LoveIsland tweets and replies may be used on social, incl. your name and/or Twitter handle."

This was spotted by eagle-eyed fans, one of whom shared a screenshot of the bio and excitedly wrote: "Love Island have changed their Twitter bio to include this!!! Does this mean we're actually FINALLY going to get the tweet challenge? [sic]"

A second user who spotted the change agreed, writing: "Official Love Island account just changed its bio which means we're getting the Twitter challenge [sic]."

If the challenge returns, it will be to the absolute delight of fans, who have been begging producers to include it in this year's season.

"The only tweet I want if a Twitter challenge ever comes up: 'Luca hates Tasha because she rejected him for Andrew in the first week, he does not give a s**t about Andrew's feelings' [sic]," added a second.

"The Twitter challenge would make soo much sense for this Love Island season, what are the producers waiting for ?? [sic]" wrote a third.

Another remarked: "Love Island if you're listening please do the twitter challenge and let the boys know how much we all hate them [sic]."

Meanwhile, someone simply wanted the islanders to see what Luca looked like when he had long hair.

One person said that the Ekin-Su needs the challenge to see what viewers think of her friendships with Paige and Gemma.

They wrote: "We need the twitter challenge so ekin su can find out that gemma and paige are fake friends and secret haters [sic]."

What would you like to see in a Twitter challenge?

One thing is for sure, with just a week of the show left, the producers will have to get a move on if they are planning to include it.
