There’s a reason why you recognise My Life With The Walter Boys’ character George Walter as season 3 drops
The third season of My Life With The Walter Boys hit Netflix today (6 August), and it's clear that fans of the hit romance series will be buzzing to rattle through all 10 episodes.
Amidst all the hype for the new season, which stars Nikki Rodriguez, Noah LaLonde, Ashby Gentry and Sarah Rafferty, TV lovers have been quick to recognise where they recognise one specific character from.
Marc Blucas, who plays patriarch of the Walter family, George, also starred in the hit Y2K series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar, Nicholas Brendon and Alyson Hannigan.

Blucas, 54, took on the role of Riley Finn, a military commando in the secret demon-hunting group The Initiative who was also a major romantic partner for Buffy Summers during the fourth and fifth seasons.
After making the connection, fans rushed to social media to share their reactions.
"I just found out that the actor who plays Riley on Buffy the Vampire Slayer is the same one who plays George in My Life with the Walter Boys," penned one X user.
A second chimed in: "I’m just now taking in that the dad from My Life with the Walter Boys is Riley from Buffy."
"RILEY FROM BUFFY WAS THE DAD IN MY LIFE WITH THE WALTER BOYS F*CK OFF," exclaimed a third.
Another piped up: "Everyone is all like 'this person on My Life with the Walter Boys is from this teen show, and this person is from this teen show', and I’m all THE DAD IS RILEY FROM BUFFY, and that’s how I realised I’m old."
And a final X user confessed: "My mom is now watching My Life with the Walter Boys AND MARC BLUCAS (Riley) PLAYS THERE.
"IT'S SOOO WIERD TO WATCH MOVIES/TV SHOWS WITH BUFFY ACTORS OUTSIDE BUFFYVERSE NGL (when they make unexpected appearance)."
Speaking to Tudum, Gentry, who plays Alex, teased that season three begins exactly where season two left off:
"Everyone’s reality has shattered a little bit, and they’re picking up the pieces of that and trying to put it back together again," he shared.
Meanwhile, showrunner, creator, and executive producer Melanie Halsall added that the season kicks off with an 'emotional' first episode, and 'a lot of this season, more than other seasons, is about growing up, maturing, and stepping up'.
