Love Island Fans Are Divided By 'Calculated' Argument Between Amber And Ekin-Su

The latest episode of Love Island has divided fans on social media after an argument between Amber and a ‘calculated’ Ekin-Su.

Tensions rose among the girls in the aftermath of Ekin-Su leaving Davide for newcomer Jay and meeting him in secret on the terrace. Watch below:

This resulted in an explosive argument between Ekin-Su and Davide, where he accused her of being a 'liar' and an 'actress'.

In the aftermath of this, Amber, 24, said to Ekin-Su, 27, tonight: “I feel like upstairs, you’ve been really genuine and we’ve seen a vulnerable side to you but I will add, over the last couple of days I’ve thought, is she playing a bit of a game?”

She then accused Ekin-Su of ‘enjoying the drama’ caused when she decided to pursue Jay after, in her opinion, Davide wasn’t making enough effort with her. 

Gemma, 19, agreed with Amber and told Ekin-Su that her actions in the villa were ‘calculated’ and said: “You know what you’re doing.” 

However, reactions to the drama on social media have been mixed.

Many fans praised Ekin-Su for unapologetically chasing her heart in the Love Island villa.

One wrote: “They think Ekin Su is calculated but she is the only one getting to know people and going with her gut. The rest are coasting along and don’t want to open up [sic].”

“Amber is the calculated one,” remarked a second viewer. “She’s with Dami who she isn’t even attracted to…. Ekin Su is genuinely with jay because she ACTUALLY fancies him. How is Ekin Su the calculated one????? [sic]”

A third unimpressed viewer added: “How can Gemma call Ekin Su calculated like she isn’t in the villa for that Boux Avenue deal [sic].”

“If ekin su was calculated wouldn’t she have stayed with davide [sic],” questioned a fourth.

Then there were plenty of viewers who agreed with Gemma’s take.

One wrote: “proud ekin su hater idc gemma is right she’s calculated and knows what she’s doing [sic].”
