Love Island Fans Think Davide And Ekin-Su Will Become 'Lovers' After Davide's Remark

Love Island's Davide and Ekin-Su's relationship has been far from plain sailing and despite an initial attraction, things quickly went south.

It all went down after Ekin-Su, 27, claimed that the Italian businessman wasn't making enough effort with her, so she decided to pursue newcomer Jay instead. Watch below:

However, as this involves more than little sneaking around, it saw Ekin-Su come to blows with Davide when he discovered that she'd been meeting Jay in secret.

But after a remark tonight, fans of hit dating show think that the pair could reconcile and become lovers... yes, even after Davide's 'liar' and 'actress' comments.

One wrote: "'Ekin you should've seen the kiss, very passionate' DAVIDE GETS HER EVERY TIME [sic]."

A second added: "i lowkey want ekin and davide to get together enemies to lovers WATTPAD STYLE [sic]."

"Davide is living rent free in Ekin-su’s head and he knows it," wrote a third.

"Imagine an enemies to lovers storyline between davide and ekin-su [sic]," speculated a fourth viewer.

A fifth said that they could see Ekin-Su trying again with Davide, albeit unsuccessfully.

They wrote: "If Jay goes to Antigoni, I feel like Ekin-Su will try with Davide again, but he'll tell her 'Go the f**k out!'"

A sixth laughed: "If Ekin-Su gets Davide back she deserves a ballon d'or. I haven't seen a comeback like this since Barca vs PSG [sic]."

"Sorry but I love Ekin-Su and Davide's dynamic. I'm rooting for an enemies to lovers storyline," added yet another viewer hoping for a reconciliation.

"Can we get an enemies to lovers trope with Ekin-su and Davide please they're killing me," begged an eight viewer.

However, the storyline might not develop in this way, as yet another bombshell is set to enter the villa and this time it's a man.

The new bombshell is Charlie Radnedge, a 28-year-old estate agent from London.

He told producers that he has his eye on Ekin-Su, Paige and Tasha.

"But I’m keeping an open mind until I meet them," he said. I might get on with someone I didn't fancy before.

"I'm very much on the personality side of things and whether you vibe with someone. Ekin-Su is more towards my classic type.

"Paige seems like a very, very nice girl. Tasha seems like good fun as well. I find her quite intriguing - I want to find out more about her."
