Love Island's Billy Hints At Divide Between Islanders

Could there be a divide amongst the boys?

Former Love Island contestant Billy Brown has suggested that there could be an unspoken divide amongst the islanders in the villa this year.

The Casa Amor boy was dumped from the ITV dating series this week alongside fellow bombshell Summer Botwe, following a public vote for viewers' favourite boy and girl.

While Billy might not have been the most popular in the public eye, his exit interview suggests that there might be something going on behind the scenes that viewers aren't seeing.

Billy, 23, had his share of ups and downs with the girls after making it into the main villa by coupling up with Tasha Ghouri, 23.

Things quickly ended with Tasha when she decided to go back to her original couple with Andrew Le Page.

After a few failed attempts to flirt with Gemma Owen, Billy set his sights on Danica Taylor, and eventually coupled up with her.

However, the couple's romance was short-lived after Billy hurt Danica's feelings during a game of Snog, Marry, Pie.

Not only did Billy choose to snog Gemma, but he got down on one knee to 'propose' to Paige Thorne, leaving Danica high and dry in the name of "banter".

Despite his failed attempts to find love on the show, Billy appeared to have formed strong relationships with the other boys in the villa.

However, the roofing company director has hinted that there might be a subtle divide between the men that viewers at home aren't seeing.

During his exit interview after being dumped from the villa, Billy was asked if he had made friends for life during his time on the show.

He replied: "I’ve already said to Adam, Davide, Jay, Josh, we’re all meeting up straight away and going for a night out, dinner and catch-up. There are some good lads in there! We’ll be going to Ibiza."

Notably Billy failed to mention Dami Hope, Luca Bish, Deji Adeniyi, and Andrew Le Page.

While Billy might struggle to befriend Andrew considering his history with Tasha, he and Deji had a strong friendship as fellow Casa Amor bombshells.

However, when Deji started to suggest he might have feelings for Danica, he wasn't afraid to call out Billy on his bad behaviour toward the 21-year-old dancer, which may have caused some friction between the friends.

Billy failed to mention Dami, Luca, Andrew, or Deji as boys he wanted to see on the outside.

Billy has likely burned his bridges with Luca, too, after trying one-too-many times to steal Gemma from him. And he was the first person to comfort Summer after she was yelled at by Dami during an explosive argument.

Billy is the latest islander to hint at a dislike for Dami and Luca, who have been wreaking havoc in the villa as of late.

Not only have both boys been accused of relentlessly 'bullying' fellow islander Tasha Ghouri, but their questionable behaviour with partners Indiyah Polack and Gemma Owen respectively have sparked uproar, and even triggered a statement from domestic abuse charity Women's Aid, who are now working with Love Island bosses as a result.

Could some of the boys be turning on Luca and Dami now, too?

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVHub.
